ABSOLUTELY REPREHENSIBLE! Wife went in for a simple extraction. The procedure took over 2 hrs. She was in terrible pain throughout the duration. An adjacent tooth was broken in the process. Absolutely no remorse or empathy was offered from the Dentist Dr Hanson ("oops now you'll need a crown"). And furthermore we were stuck with the $1200 bill. They take ownership of the fault, but will do nothing about the invoice. I spoke to the office mgr. Travis, and was told that it is standard business practice to stick their patients with exorbitant invoices regardless of their fault in the matter! AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! OR IT WILL COST YOU!!!!
Terrible. Im so tired of their service, or lack there of. One thing at a time, scheduled 6 months apart, refuse to fill a tooth, and now I cant even get them to schedule. Im filing a formal complaint and I guess my son has to pay for a different dentist.
I have been a patient here since 2017 I received good service and all my teeth were healthy after a year of work and a partial for missing teeth in lower back of my mouth . In 2019 I went there for a cleaning and found a note closed COVID .. I haven't been able get an appointment since .No dentist or no hygienist . and wasn't until my cavity had killed my tooth and had to be pulled that I was seen Then told that I wasn't a patient because I hadn't been seen there since 2019 and it was 2024 now . What ? And after I said That was Covid not me .. They told me that the dentist there wasn't taking new patients This is not right ,and I need major dental work done now possibly having to extract all my teeth ...because I couldn't get seen here and it's the only place I can go to in my araa I am filing this with the state department of Health ..I have no choice I have tried to talk to people about it and get no response
One time I was given another patient’s medical file, which was printed out at the end of my appointment and given to me to take home. Also, another time I had to have a tooth pulled because they couldn’t schedule me for a root canal (too busy on their end). I just had a visit almost two weeks ago, and they said I need to wait 2-3 weeks to schedule to have my seven fillings done. (I had no idea; My X-rays weren’t explained to me—read further) (They said they are understaffed) One of my teeth has a large hole, but can be saved, however, I truly think they just want to pull them instead of giving me a root canal. I feel like I can’t get the help I need. The cleanings and X-rays gals were very thorough and highly professional. Wish I could get my much needed root canal and fillings done. I do wish my X-rays were explained to me, because I didn’t know I needed 7 fillings or what the X-ray said until I called back to try and schedule to have my fillings done. (Still waiting for that 2-3 weeks to pass so I can schedule my care)
I'm not sure where people are getting the bad service or care from. I have been to the top floor and the bottom floor for my daughter and the level of care is way above par! The way the keep my young daughters mind occupied and how they talk to her is amazing. Well worth a 5 star review for commitment professional and care for the practice. Thanks family health dental center.
