I had my dental exam with Dr Higa she was sweet and nice! Her assistant cant remember her name but she was awesome loved the service I received ❤️
I had a heart attack on December 3rd, while at visiting my sister at Monument hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. She has since died from cancer. Her nurse noticed I was unwell and I feel she saved my life . Already being in the hospital she sent me immediately to the ER and I was admitted for 3 days, after which I returned to Othello Washington and immediately scheduled an appointment with Columbia Basin Health Association. I was seeking a referral to a local cardiologist as I had been instructed by the cardiologist at Monument hospital to have another heart ultrasound within 3 weeks. It's already been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for the referral. When I called CBHA today, Dec 15, they said they would 'try' to have that sent out to me this week and they do not do urgent referrals. I then called a cardiologist in Richland who said they only schedule 12 months out, when referrals are not labeled urgent. Next I called Monument hospital in South Dakota and they stated they had already given a referral to CBHA and so I should wait for them. This will cause me to go way past the 3-week time period when I was to have a second ultrasound. After listening to my story Monument agreed to send their referral directly to a cardiologist in Richland, Washington. I'm very disappointed in CBHA for not following up on this and getting me a referral when I needed it. I feel a heart attack is serious and somewhat urgent and I have to wonder what CBHA feels is urgent???
This is about the worst clinic I've been to. The people scheduling says when your appointment is then when you go in they never actually schedule you. Dental department have to wait to schedule appointments only a month at a time so you get an appointment to make an appointment. You tell them what you need to be seen for and they go off into left field. Get it together or something
Dr Garza completely rushed me, said we couldn't do a physical and address the couple concerns I had at the same time. Spent 40 minutes waiting for a 5 minute encounter. First appointment in 3 years. Why can't I get a physical and address my concerns
(Not real name) Went once for something I was struggling with and made it known to the doctor that I rarely make appointments because clinics make me anxious and uncomfortable, silly but something I’ve always struggled with and it makes it hard for me to go for checkups to make sure I’m okay. This visit I was being given an Injection on my backside and the doctor left the room. There were 2 nurses who had to do it for me, they seemed like they were younger. Early 20s. It was just us 3 in the room and I was nervous and the 2 nurses are behind me just laughing to each other and whispering but I couldn’t make out what they were saying. When everything was done they just look like they were trying not to laugh at me or my body. You guys work in a medical field and this is inappropriate. You should be making patients comfortable and never shamed, it’s your jobs as doctors and nurses to see all kinds of people and never laugh at them. You’re supposed to be helping. Now I feel even more uncomfortable seeing any doctor/nurse.
