My dentist (Dr. Pinzon) and dental tech were very lovely. The operation was quicker than I expected (with such a deep cavity) and they handled my worries very well. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible during what is usually a highly uncomfortable experience! Thank you ladies.
If you’ve got an emergency you’ve literally got a better chance pulling the tooth than seeing a dentist here. If you’re lucky you’ll leave and find somewhere available. If you’re unlucky you’ll fill out some paperwork and sit for 2 hours before you leave
Was sent all the way to Mill Creek from Bellingham just to be told I a doctor there that braces won’t be covered under insurance because I’m too old. I would strongly recommend that you guys implement a practice of checking the patient’s age and details on their insurance card and profile prior to sending them somewhere far. Its wasting their precious time taking time from work, and getting a babysitter to watch their child. If there was diligence in doing their work, this wouldn’t have happened. Thank you!
Do not go here. Insanely discriminatory against the disabled and mother's. You will not be able to get an appointment unless you're developmentally disabled, which we were told we needed to contact our insurance. We did, turns out thats not true, thats 100% illegal to list. Only to call unity care and have a brand new story, that it was now a completely arbitrary case of "unity care decides that after you see us for an appointment". Yes, to get an appointment with them as a new patient over 25, you have to have an appointment with them. They will not tell you this until you threaten a lawsuit. They have a standby clinic that, if you're a breastfeeding mother, good luck. Its completely a game of luck, the manager told me they do not have a place to breastfeed or pump, and you will lose your spot in the waiting queue if you need to as the manager said word for word "step out into your car to feed" (that is already not guaranteed, so you'll be sitting around with a baby all day in a medical facility). They refuse to take any sort of documentation from your existing doctor, they force you to make an appointment on one specific day, and there are only a limited amount of appointments. If youre deaf and need to go in to make an appointment, there's no chance. Just go to Mexico and get your teeth worked on, they absolutely do whatever they can to not see patients at this dentist. A complaint has been made with the ADA dental board as well as we have reached out to a lawyer because there is 0 way this is legal. I have been waiting over a month for a call back from a manager. More specifically, my deaf wife who needs some simple dental work has been. This is how they treat people. Unfortunately they are the only place nearby that will (allegedly) accept new patients but they do everything in their power to refuse to see patients. We have been lied to again and again on the phone by them. Its gotten to the point where I will be just lying and telling them my daughter has her first tooth just so she can be seen so that my wife may hopefully be seen, unless they pull some other excuse out to avoid needing to see the disabled woman. Avoid like the plague. Almost positive they're breaking a bunch of rules and just relying on people being too stressed out so that they can get away with it. Please make sure to report them to the ADA dental complaints board if you're like the many, many others who have had to deal with the same. Even if they're following all the rules technically, we deserve way better in Bellingham than this corporate dehumanizing nonsense.
I've been going to unity care for years and I have never met such an incredible and caring dentist. Jen was incredible and went out of her way to explain everything to me even for a basic dental cleaning. She made me feel super comfortable and safe and it was just a wonderful experience.
