Only giving 1-star because of Mark Dillingham. (I think that’s his last name.) This is the second time we’ve encountered him, both for our children. First, he has a snarky, rude sense of humor (not professional OR funny), he curses (also NOT professional) and lastly and most importantly, becomes very demeaning when you stand up for your children against his “professional” judgement. I guess he has no choice to respect opinions because as a parent, I will do what I feel is best, but when you disagree with him, he becomes incredibly rude and demeaning. He prescribed my children a medicine that we’re not comfortable with and when I asked him if there were any other options, he quickly became rude and snarky, telling me no, I’m out of luck. I explained calmly that I’ve given my child this med before and it caused severe negative side effects, so naturally, I wasn’t doing it again. Granted, this drug is WIDELY known for horrible side effects and has a black box warning and is hardly prescribed anymore because the risks outweigh the benefits. That being said, I asked if he ran a respiratory panel being that I, their mom, was diagnosed via respiratory panel at urgent care with bacterial bronchitis hours earlier. He told me that they don’t have that specific panel in office (which I later learned that they do), he just didn’t run it. After speaking with a different provider, they said that the children should be treated like their mom as a precautionary measure (antibiotics) just in case, but when I asked if he would send some in, his response was, “I’m not comfortable doing that,” very similar to my, “I’m not comfortable giving my child that medication.” I’m honestly appalled that Crossroads even allows this behavior from one of their PA’s. The secret to a successful practice is to respect your patients, their wishes and concerns and for the love of all that is good, BE PROFESSIONAL. I don’t need to hear cursing in a doctor’s office and I definitely would never do anything to hurt my child, only simply advocate for them because they can’t do it themselves. All of that to say, we’ve had great success with the other providers, but always ask who you’ll be seeing and if they tell you it’s Mark, I’d highly recommend you refuse. Our family will be going elsewhere for care from this point on.
Office and medical staff are very nice and professional, facilities are clean. Fast service: we were in and out under an hour, and bloodwork for husband's tests came back the next day. We are very happy with our experience and glad to find a primary for husband close by.
Terrible customer service. I called to schedule an appointment around 8am and got it for 2:20pm. They called 20 minutes later saying they were just calling to confirm my appointment for 11am. I asked if they had the right person & they said my name & everything. I show up at 11 & they say my appointment isn’t until 2:20 & that they could see me.
My visit was outstanding. There was no wait time for the appointment. The entire staff was considerate and cordial. Each person listened to my concerns and addressed them appropriately.
Got there at 1:45 for a 2:00 appointment. Forty- five minutes later, still waiting to be called back there. They informed me that they weren't sure when I would be called back but I was the next in line. I was the ONLY ONE in the waiting room and had been the only one for awhile. I filled out the paperwork on line before my appointment so that I wouldn't have to worry about it when I got to the office. When I got there, they handed me a clipboard with paperwork to fill out and I informed them that I already filled it out and they were like let me check that. I will not be going back to this doctors office. If I could leave no stars, I would definitely do that.
