My experience with this facility was very pleasant, given the circumstances. Dr. Joy helped explain what I was going through and supported me throughout my journey. I truly enjoy seeing everyone here because, no matter what, they make me feel seen and are always there to lift you up.
I called them and asked they said I could take him as a walk in so my husband took my 4 year old son because he had a painful ear infection. They show up and my husband fills out their paperwork and pays their fee he sits and waits. 40 minutes go by he asks how much longer they just say appointments have a priority which is understandable but 2 hours go by from when they arrived and still nothing finally a nurse comes out to check my sons temperature after 2 hours which was 100.7 and she says to take him to the hospital bc it was “too high” what is the point of saying they take walk ins if a child with a lot of pain and crying with a fever won’t be seen until after 2 hours by a nurse who is just gonna say go to the hospital. They could have said hey there’s this number of people ahead of you it will be a long wait but no they take the payment first and have you wait because even though your 4 year old child is in pain he has no priority over all the adults who were arriving after my husband did with my son. My husband ended up leaving in a rush because that was unacceptable. He went to a different clinic who also does it by appointment and takes walk ins there were several children with appointments there and yet this other clinic was able to take him in 10 minutes after arriving. It’s understandable that people with appointments have priority but 30 or 40 minute wait is ok 2 hours or more is ridiculous!!!!! So anyone going as a walk in think twice before you go here.
I am an owner of a facility....Desire To Live Assisted Living. Our medical doctor referred us to this facility for the lady's.Well woman treatments. Busy Bee Wellness Center contacted us for our appointment. We arrive for the appointments and was greeted with the best surprise ever. The family at this agency met us at our van. Assisted me with unloading every last one of my residents. Gave them hugs greeted them like family. Sign them in ...took them straight to the private examination rooms... Then started their treatments. Even my very finicky and tense residence was comfortable with the people there. They made all of us feel safe and taken care of. Each person had medical exams, eye exams, and blood work. We were giving our follow up appointments. Once everything was over, they assisted us back into the van, and express their deepest thanks for coming. I have scheduled exams for additional residents to get their treatments. In my sixty five years, I have never experienced such warmth in a medical facility! I thank you, Dr Alhassan for sending us there. We will be back. Thank you thank you Busy Bee Wellness Center!
I am very disappointed in what I experienced today. I am a huge advocate for attending therapy and had setup a session for a loved one. I was sent a message telling me that I needed to be at this location at 11:30 for my 12pm appointment. I specifically asked to meet in person when i setup this session. The doors were locked and no one was there. I called was put on hold and then when they took me off of hold they asked me "what can we help you with". I had just spoke to them and gave them my loved ones name to search for his appointment. After waiting I was told that their therapist only meets via video. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE ME DRIVE TO THE CLINIC IF THEY ONLY DO VIDEO VISITS!? I literally was assured that the appointment would be in person. This was a huge waste of time and the staff and therapist should be ashamed of the lack of punctuality given in this situation. I wasnt even given a decent apology. This clinics owners should be ashamed of themselves. Do better.
Went to my appt and since day 1 they all don't know anything everyone is so lost. Showed up to my appt there was a signed outside saying they had change locations. No one bothered to call me and let me know. I was told my application for my birth control was denied because they no longer take my insurance I called my insurance to verify and it was a lie. What they didn't explain was that the doctor who Saw me wasn't in network with the my plan. So I asked to re do my application with a doctor who was and haven't heard back. Every time I call to see the status of my application no one can give me a answer because only the medical assistants can see that and and are always unavailable to take my call and “will call back” but never do.
