I had a very uncomfortable experience at a few of the local clinics and would not recommend it. I was deeply concerned about how my medical records and personal information were handled. There was little transparency about privacy policies, and my questions about how patient information is stored or shared were brushed off. In addition, the treatment I received felt dismissive and unprofessional. I did not feel respected or listened to as a patient, and my concerns were minimized rather than addressed. Healthcare settings should feel safe and supportive, and this clinic did not meet that standard. Patients deserve clear communication, confidentiality, and respectful care. Unfortunately, this clinic failed in those areas, and I left feeling uneasy and disappointed.
I was trying to schedule an appointment for my pregnant sister, and they would not let me because she wasn´t on the call. Lazy people
called today at 9:36am asking if there were any open appointments today, the lady was quite rude to begin with and said no. i said okay, and before i got to say anything else about scheduling a future appointment, she hung up on me without a word. extremely unprofessional. luckily, i found a much nicer staffed clinic nearby. y’all really need to get your employees in check.
I stayed on the phone for at least 30 minutes filing a complaint on the Main Street branch and specifically respectfully asked that the business office call me back where I could explain how I had just been in to Main Street, and that evening got very ill, fever, congested lungs, terrible cough, chills, fever, and other symptoms. I immediately called and tried to get back to Main Street the next day and the doctor WOULD NOT see me. When you go into the Main Street office there are never more than two or three people in the office. I was told Dr. Carrier saw (3) patients before noon, and from noon until 3 PM he does what they call administrative things? From 3 PM to closing they said he was booked up with 4 patients, let me say that again, 4 patients. Dr. Carrier spends 5-7 minutes with me on my visits, but 4 patients was the limit. The last time I tried to do a walk in, I waited 4 hours and then was told sorry, they are closing, I would not be able to be seen. There is no question that unless a patient can time their virus or flu or infection a couple of months ahead, YOU WILL NOT GET IN, AS THEY CAN NOT EXCEED 8 PATIENTS IN AN ENTIRE DAY. I remain very sick and still cannot get in, I'm going to try Madison tomorrow and just wait and wait and hope they see me, next stop, the emergency room, and who can afford an emergency room visit, certainly not me. To speak to your doctor and he knows me very well, he knew I was sick, as I went into great detail just how sick I am, and he would not come back from lunch or alter his administration time even 5 minutes to see me, no consideration for a very sick person at all, and no medical facility should work this way, but that was and remains my experience. To add insult to injury, this Neighborhood Health Business would not acknowledge my dictated complaint about my experience, no one would call me from this Business Office.
