Heavy set older lady in the check in an out desk seem to be racist and is very rude stares at u all nasty like rolling her eyes like a child an moving her head all weird and what not someone needs to watch her on the footage if she has something to say to me she needs to call me up an not be talking about me and my kids behind my back in front of everyone in the waiting room like I owe her something and tries to get u into problems just because she doesn't like the fact u are the only Hispanic going there I guess she likes to act like she owns the place another thing I just started going there b this lady tries to act like she knows my life and tries accussing u of not going to the doctor so u get ur kids taking away she will literally sit there an gossip about u to the other ppl around her an doctors meanwhile everyone can hear her another thing I'm pretty sure that's against HEPA regulations,I really hope she knows she is breaking the rules hopefully someone can get that lady undercontrol or handle the situation,You can take 1 kid in she will sit there and go through everyone else's profile even though u went to take 1 not every kid u have which I'm pretty sure she is not supposed to go through everyone else in the families profile unless asked to do so and especially not gossip about the patients infront of a room full of waiting patients,I really don't understand why she is still working there people like her just need to stay home no one likes to go to a doctors office where they get treated differently because of there race something needs to be done about her!!!!!!!
The office ladies glare at you and stare you down with dirty looks. I take my grandparents here and have never said anything but thank you to the front office ladies so not sure what their problem is but it makes me uncomfortable.
I really loved my few visits with CHOTA until they told me they couldn’t help me with an ESA Letter. I don’t understand why they have no problem giving out pills but when it comes to other ways of regulating your nervous system, they just don’t do that. Huh? It’s very sad.
I have been going to Madisonville for over 3 years and drive 35 miles to get there. I have never received nothing but the best treatment. I see Jordan Newman and he takes time with me, discusses the problem, his plan for treatment and listens to my concern. The nurses are great, check-in is great and Joan will even recommend a good place to eat. Keep up the great work.
I do not recommend Chota for PCP care. For context, i had been going to Chota since I was eighteen in 2020, and while I can say that some providers are very polite, and will listen to you- several will not. When I went in due to my concerns over a partially dislocated wrist in December of 2023, I was told that it couldn’t be a dislocation, and was actually a cyst. No X rays, or further testing were done. As you can probably guess, my wrist very much was dislocated, and has given me chronic issues due to lack of treatment (until I could switch providers). I also have asked for referrals to begin my process of getting diagnosed with Elhers-Danlos syndrome, due to hypermobility issues (which led to the dislocation), and a close family history of the disorder (mother and aunt, which was mentioned).I was denied my request because “Elhers Danlos is extremely rare”. Because of this I have suffered unnecessarily until I finally received the care I needed via a specialist, without the help of chota. My heart, and over all mobility + quality of life, have been impacted by the conditions Chota’s providers refused to write referrals for me to be tested for. Now that I am diagnosed, I am finally receiving the care I need, and feel comfortable enough to say that I do not recommend this place for your PCP. Especially not if you have any rare, or severe conditions. Your concerns will not be taken seriously.
