I have the hardest time getting through to actually talking to someone at my Drs office. I left a message with the call center and 48 hrs later still have not heard from anyone and when I finally got the receptionist at the office and wanted a call from the nurse, I still never got a call. I don't feel as though they care about my health.
The dentist's, assistance and front of the house staff are all top notch. They explain everything to you and accept all a dental insurance. They covered everything that needs to be done to my mouth and they were fantastic individuals. I recommend them highly.
I am currently inside and I was scheduled to see a doctor but only talking to a nurse practitioner who is fighting me every step of the way. I was only telling her that 2 doctors out of 40 tried to lower my thyroid medication and I went back into hypothyroidism both times they increased it back to what I've been taking for 25 years. She was nasty and said I can refer you to a endocrinologist and tried to just get rid of me. I told her I was just giving her background. This nurse and another one also did not care that creatine when I'm working out.. raises your creatinine level . They said I don't know about that and you could have renal kidney failure. What is wrong with people these days.
I have been STUCK at Port Royal for four years. I have been told, "the doctor doesn't have time for you." They sent me to the same day clinic so many times that they won't help me anymore. They have attempted to violate my HIPAA rights by refusing to refill my script until I had a letter from my boss stating I needed my medication. Dr. Dawson for the past YEAR has repeatedly signed the wrong spot on my script which is a $200 difference. My doctor is never in the building and the phone tag game is a nightmare that you might play for weeks. Dawson's nurse in adult med is unprofessional and rude. I attempted to ask her if the same day clinic was available (I can't make the referral, someone from my doctor's would have to clarify why). "I'm not gonna do that." I asked why not and she hung up on me. I would've left after the first year if another doctor was available. Things don't get better here. One month later and Dawson's nurse still hangs up when I or anyone on my behalf calls and it takes days or weeks to get her to refill my script.
The smile mobile's honorable pursuit. Helping this less fortunate is a lie. I saw the older rotary club man, pictured in the island News and Debbie Slazyk. Lie to an older black lady who came to the Penn center for help. They told her they could not squeeze her in and they don't accept walk-ins. The Lady left very humbled. We then heard Debbie and the rotary man complaining how slow they were. They could have treated that lady. Their decisions are completely arbitrary. Perhaps, they are racist?
