The service is excellent, with great facilities and outstanding customer care.
Excellent and well-directed to the patient's needs. They provide courteous service, are dedicated and organized; it's well worth visiting the Montaña Naranjito Comprehensive Health Center.
A patient who underwent open-heart surgery needs lab work and an X-ray for follow-up with the surgeon. We called Toa Alta 1 and they gave us an appointment for the day after the call at 2:30 PM to give us the referral, and then the lab work the following day since it requires fasting. It's a waste of time, like making a recently operated patient come in for a signature only to then return for lab work and X-rays. If the doctor already knows that the patient will be using Coumadin and will require continuous pulse oximetry (PTT), plus the X-ray, it's obvious post-surgical after a valve replacement and triple bypass. The logistics don't make sense to me and are not in the patient's best interest. As a healthcare professional, I don't recommend them at all. There are other PCPs (Pharmaceutical Care Centers) where they are more considerate in these situations and simplify the processes. It's one thing to request a new prescription, and of course, for that the doctor has to evaluate the patient, and another to get a referral for an order from a specialist. All we need is the referral because the general practitioner won't do anything with that order from a cardiothoracic surgeon. What a frustration.
Well, every time I've gone to the emergency room, they've treated me super well. I call the doctors and nurses who work in the pharmacy Angels on Earth for the love they show us. God bless them. Thank you for your treatment.
They take forever to provide medical attention, and they don't handle emergencies right away. I prefer the CDT Comerio, El PabellĂłn. I don't like the service there either. I had to wait almost 30 minutes when I arrived at 7 pm to fill out paperwork. There were only three people ahead of me, and I didn't leave until 1 am. And those people were just waiting for lab results.
