The referral system is incredibly slow, working at a snail's pace. They see you and don't even ask if you need anything; they just leave you waiting. The counter staff are incredibly rude, especially the one who handles adult referrals. They're always gossiping amongst themselves and do everything they can to make something that should take half an hour take four, five, or even six hours. The phone is useless; no one ever answers, just a recording that supposedly calls you back, but it never does. I have no complaints about the doctors, though, because they're wonderful and very dedicated, and the reception staff treat you well too.
It's unbelievable how terrible the customer service is. There's no way to get through by phone. The employees are grumpy no matter how hard you try. When you get a referral, it's like they're paying for it out of their own pockets. There's no empathy or desire to help. We've been waiting a month for authorization for a test, and it's still not ready. It's incredibly frustrating and infuriating.

I work in customer service, and it's unbelievable that you're doing 125% to get people out of line, to help those waiting, and the three receptionists are just messing around... talking about perfumes, looking things up online, and then laughing nonstop while there are people waiting in the waiting room. Terrible service. Management should take into account the patients' feelings about this.
The doctors are very good, professional, and dedicated. But the secretaries need to improve in many areas. For example, they hang up when you call and then, just as your appointment is about to start, they schedule appointments for one time and then change them without notice. They constantly change appointments without consulting the patient. And when they are actually attending to patients, they are rude.
