I have been with cascadia since 2017. Through their programs for case management, primary care, therapy, housing, med management etc. They have gotten me through many tough spots, but have also contributed to some of it. Initially, they were decent, I had low standards due no experience with any other providing organizations. I had many different therapists, and providers over the years. Their system is now a complete mess, with horrid treatment of clients and employees alike from what ive seen, heard, and been through. Overtime they have dropped the ball. What they need is a total renovation of their entire system. Not just buildings, and outer appearances, but the internal network, the care they should put into being a lifeline like they should have been all along. Their housing is trash, when a management person at a cascadia housing place needs several other jobs just to survive, while only given 10 hours a week to work the management office of the property. THAT alone shows just how badly they treat workers. Aside from them not even enforcing their own rules in their buildings, when it comes to saftey, discrimination, smoking, and drug use. I have lost many therapists and providers because of the poor conditions of their work. (Pay/Hours/Courtesy/etc.) Some were really good people, who showed genuine compassion through my troubles. While also helping me stay stable. Many receptionists, doctors, therapists, etc. Are quite rude, short, misleading, insensitive, and outright destructive sometimes to the clients that should thrive. Causing an increase in mental and physical health problems, which strains the system more, and causes much more problems for everyone. Admin's are slow, the line of communications are broken, networks down more often than not, with random cancelations, and little in the way of courtesy. I am thankful for all they have done for me in the past, and I will be staying with them for the providers im under. Mia is amazing, Nat is kind, and Sarah is also very nice too. I am appreciative of them, for being the people/providers who support me. They show compassion, check in when they can, and are consistent. Never asking me to repeat everything ive said every time we meet. They remember past appointments, providing me a footing to move forward, instead of reiterating the past over and over. I hope someday that the rest of cascadia can be the same. And hopefully help ease the mental/physical health crisis plaguing portland. Thankyou.

Cascadia Health has served our community for decades. They provide professional, supportive, effective services in both behavioral health and housing services. If they can’t help with a specific need , they give helpful resources. Cascadia Health is definitely an out patient leader in our community. Five stars!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

if i could give a zero star rating, i would. cascadia garlington basically forgot i existed for almost 2 months during a time of great mental duress. i had to take my spare minutes i have as a full-time essential worker to contact them as to why i'd been ignored, and not checked on in such a long time. of course, no explanation, no excuses or apologies... just dull silence, and a complete unwillingness to bother abiding my requests as a patient. DO NOT use cascadia garlington specifically if you're suffering from any form of mental illness, as they've proven that all they care about is numbers, and that sweet, sweet money. stay away, far away.
