Where to begin as someone who's been to many different medical offices this is the most poorly ran place I've seen. They never answer the phones, the que call back never works, they take days to repost to simple questions, dont take patient concerns seriously, and you basically have to bug them to do the basic things like refills or messages to providers so it actually get done. Word of advice find a better place to take care of your health needs cause this place is a absolute joke. Also I dont think ive ever had medical staff stop me mid sentence when im explaining health concerns or problems, completely unprofessional.
I never wanted to do this, Because I love my doctor at Virginia Garcia Dr. O’Leary top notch kind but this is for Virginia Garcia Clinic in general. I have stood many times in line waiting for 67 people at the front desk all in a row to glance up at me not help me but yet they helped the Hispanic person right in front of me and I wait and wait. They’re all either talking to each other about birthday parties or staring down at their computer, which I’m sure some are actually working on other calls and appointments and then finally they’ll call me up only to sit down and then the next person that comes behind me is a Hispanic and they take them right away. I feel like there’s some prejudice going on there with some of the people I felt it for years and I’ve never said anything. There is also the miscommunication of trying to contact my own physician only to get a go Go between who either is not taking me serious or not passing on my messages in a timely manner between me and my actual care team whether that be an advice, nurse or my physician they’ve dropped the ball many times everything from the call center you can be on the phone listening to it ring for more than 2030 minutes. One time 40 minutes before an actual person even answers the phone absolutely unacceptable just this week being told that they will speak to my physician and call me back they never did. I guess it doesn’t matter when they’re not the one in pain or suffering through any medical problem or don’t take it serious referrals that I’m told have been I’ve been referred into only to have another one say that they canceled it out only to be told that the referral is indeed in the works and to get that messed up on top of everything else are waiting and waiting for someone someone to communicate with you on your test results either it never happens or you have to read your own test results and read between the lines and then push back again to see if you should be on antibiotics, etc. somewhere along the line one or more dropping the ball. My frustration is years of this, but I stuck with it because of my doctor. I absolutely love her, but there’s so much work that needs to be done at this clinic. Not sure if the problem is that they just keep hiring young people out of the school, but if you work for a medical team and you deal with the disabled handicapped, elderly, and people who just downright don’t feel well or are sick, please have more compassion understanding or you shouldn’t work there
Alexandria was amazing. I have not had customer service like that in all the 13 years I've been going to Virginia Garcia! She was so helpful, kind, Compassionate and understanding! Truly thankful she is the one who answered my call! Thank you so much Alexandria!! 100% five stars 💯
My family is new to this clinic. Everyone was great. From scheduling to being seen. It is very difficult to get through to make an appointment. I've left a message and pushed the button for a call back and haven't got any help. I had to drive up to the clinic to schedule and appointment. Update: My family see's Emily for our health care needs. She referred me to a team over at Wellcore to tackle my fibromyalgia. The quick referrals are so helpful. She's a great provider.
The first visit was excellent then it all went downhill from there. They treat me like I’m wasting their time when I wanna make sure the doctor that they’re setting me up with is in network with my insurance because I don’t have Oregon health plan. I’m not gonna just take the crumbs that you offer those patients.. not to mention you had already wasted my time by having me have to come back down there and get another EKG because you screwed up the first time and took two weeks of me messaging you and messaging you through my chart to even tell me that you had screwed it up. After that when you finally did the EKG correctly, it still took three weeks to even get the results of that and we were trying to find out if I had a heart arrhythmia to see if I needed to change a medication which is kind of important to find out as soon as possible. eKGs are routine procedures. They’re not complicated. You can tell by how much they charge your insurance. It’s very low. not to mention I was called once and missed the call to make a new appointment and you only do those one month out . The person on the phone said there weren’t any appointments available but couldn’t schedule me for one later due to protocols so basically I have to keep calling back until their appointments one month out it’s not my fault. I can’t make an appointment if you don’t have them available one month out. Nice facility but that’s it.
