Dr appointment. Wouldn't see me because I was over 5 minutes late, but I stood at the receptionist's window for a couple of minutes while she was on the phone with the window closed... Then they wouldn't give me my blood test results which was the only reason I paid for a 60 or 70 miles round trip over there. She was kind of hateful and I got aggravated and walked out before I got outta line and said something rude... My friend went in and got them to give him my test results. I don't like to give bad reviews but I give good ones when they deserve it so.... They were out of line for the 5 minutes late, especially when you had to wait until they were through on the phone. Just saying...
Dr. Jensen MD and her nurse, Sharon (as well as all of the staff that I've personally come in contact with for medical care) have been wonderful as a primary care team! Moving here to a rural area in Oklahoma from Colorado was a daunting endeavor in and of itself, let alone having to find a new PCP and specialists in a rural area that's 1 hour away from Tulsa and 1½ hours away from OKC (depending on where in Oklahoma City you're needing to go). The office is kept extremely clean, and appointments are easy to schedule when scheduled ahead of time. Last minute same day appointments for "sick patients" are sometimes available, but limited and only if you call in the morning immediately when the office opens. The facility also has educated, capable and friendly nurse practitioners that see patients regularly. Oftentimes, it's easier to schedule an appointment with a nurse practitioner especially if you're being seen for simpler medical reasons. The Wetumka clinic has an in-house lab and x-ray abilities. In the lobby it has an in-house pharmacy that any patient is free to use (although in my personal experience, I'll never use that pharmacy again. To be fair, it's NOT affiliated with ECO) ECO Family Health also has offices in other small rural towns in the surrounding area. I go to their office in Wetumka Oklahoma, but I'm aware of offices in Wewoka Oklahoma and Henryetta Oklahoma. ECO Family Health Center's Administration office is in a separate annex building adjacent to and slightly behind the Wetumka Oklahoma Medical Office where patients are seen. The ECO Administration office handles all of the billing and administrative tasks involved in running all of the Medical offices, all of the staff, as well as officing the executive Administration for the medical company. If you have any issues with your billing account you can always visit them at the Admin building and they usually have the answer and abilities to get to the bottom of the problem. If you're in need of a referral to a specialist, Whitney the referral coordinator does an excellent job with the resources she has access to
First off the patient portal if you have to put in your birthday at 58 I had to click the back button 696 times to get to my birthday and still couldn't get in! Now the real problem I was there Friday to see someone and when they came in they had a shadow and did not introduce her did not ask if it was ok to be there she was rude and condescending over the past year I have been trying to get help for something and have gotten nothing even though 2 other Drs had diagnosed the problem and given me medication for it, eco as my PCP needs to follow up and according to them the other Drs do not know what they are talking about so I am left with having to go to the ER for treatment! Then after the meeting Friday I was given medication that did not help and probably given as a placebo l have no confidence in being treated correctly at ECO, I use to have high praise for them but that is gone!
ECO Family Health Center in Wetumpka is phenomenal. I love my Doctor, the Nurses, Techs, & Staff. The lady who does the Xrays is especially nice. She always makes you feel comfortable. They really care about their patients. The Nurse Practitioner Brack Guthrie is incredible. He takes his time & really cares about his patients concerns. Dr. Jensen is also a amazing. She'll go above & beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Nurse Practitioner Korey Taylor is also pretty phenomenal. She really cares about what you have to say. She's knowledgeable & kind. Ever since I had a bad experience at the ECO Henryetta location. I've never had any regrets about coming here. I'll drive the extra miles just to know I'll be well taken care of.
Love the clinic!! Dr. Jensen has taken awesome care of me. Long haul recovery from Covid has been hard for me, but she is caring and determined for me to get better. I recommend ECOFHC to everyone I know.
