I liked my stay here when I had my baby. The nurses were professional and nice in postpartum and labor and delivery (Mikayla, Kia, Alexis) to name a few. I got a complimentary dinner of steak and fries for me and my husband (it was good) especially for a hospital. We also each got a complimentary dessert called Baby Cakes separate from the meal and it was really delicious it was sort of a chocolate caramel brownie cheesecake. I’m also really glad they respected my decisions for me and my baby and I definitely did not feel pressured in any way.
I moved to Lawton 35 weeks pregnant (I’m active duty military) and Dr. Avila and his team were amazing with taking me on board and continuing my pre natal care. My labor and delivery was fast and easy and the post partum care was excellent and supportive. Only issue I wish they would fix is wireless monitoring during delivery.
Very impressed with Dr Ahmed. Wonderful staff. Clean facility. I forgot to take with me the paper prescription. The doctor wrote for me. The office called me almost immediately. I wasn’t even home yet. I was able to turn around quickly and go get it. Fantastic customer service.
My VA stated my appointment was at 12 pm on Feb 4th. I arrived at 11:30 and checked in. I was told I was checked in and I could sit in the waiting room. No problem, I wanted for over an hour and a half and went back up to the front to see what was taking so long. She look at my account and said my appointment was at 2:00 pm. I showed that my app stated 12 and just said that her computer said 2:00. I went and sat back down. I was then called back at 2:15. I waited for over 2:30 hours! My question is, why didn't the woman at the desk that checked me in notify me that I was there very early for a 2:00 appointment! Makes no sense! Not happy. However, Johnathan that did the echocardiogram was fantastic.
My experience with Heather Mauree NP. and her nurse was very professional and personable. Ms Heather is very confident and in my opinion very competent. I felt very comfortable with her and trusted her enough to do my biopsy. She talked me through the procedure and was very calming. I felt she truly cares and is an excellent listener.
