Doctor herself is cool but you can't hold of anyone ever no one responds to messages because I'm physically unable to talk due to being sick im over it looking into a new place because why aren't you paying attention to anything
Had gone to them for almost 2 years, at my last appointment I had to go a different location than normal and they have been trying to bill me for the visit when at the time I still had state health insurance. Everytime I call to speak to someone they are always very rude and very unprofessional. I have tried calling about this for over a year and can't get to anyone that has some knowledge on what to do since they didn't bill my insurance.
Around 840am today, I spoke to a black gentleman on the phone today, who called me back claiming to be from Dr. Lakin's direct office, and was misgendered with my file open. I also did not get medical supplies to test sugars. Due to the misgendering, yes, only once, I am choosing to move on. This same gentleman was also not willing to see who Crystal and Savannah are, who call me once a month on behalf of NHA. Seems messages to be left in chart are not getting to Dr. Lakin or are being read by Dr. Lakin. No need to communicate with me any further. I need a clinic that values my gender, identity, communications, time and health. NHA clearly is not the clinic. May make a complaint, at my own choice.
If I could give zero stars I definitely would! This place is extremely unprofessional, I received a email from a woman she asked me to set a time i did, she didn't call me back so I emailed her and she COMPLETELY ignored my emails yes I sent more than one. So my last one to her was I think it was very unprofessional to one not honor the time YOU had me waste waiting on you to call and two if you sent the email by mistake professionally kindly say I'm sorry but that email was meant for someone else. And from what I hear I dodged a bullet cause I heard that upper management was absolutely horrible! So I'm glad I didn't talk to her because she was in management. Runnnn if this place calls for a interview !
Update: As of November 4th, Im still waiting for prescriptions to be refilled! The entire staff at the Holland office needs to be retrained or moved to a different office. It's absolutely ridiculous that after 2 months my prescriptions are not filled and nobody will answer the phone to find out why! My pharmacy has called at least 5 times and they're ignoring their requests as well! The office in Holland has gone to hell since Michelle Smith left! Can't get meds refilled and they cancel appointments without informing you! Something needs to be done about the staff and quality of care that we patients are not receiving!
