I have been seeing my psychiatrist Leslie Neuberger for about 8 months and always have a good experience. She listens to my concerns and is very through during appointments. She seems to really care about her patients.
FAMILY HEALTH SERVICES DENTAL SANDUSKY/NORWALK: I had extractions in September 2024, Next appointment in October 2024 for impressions, then was told they could not get me in until January 2025 (3 months), then 2 weeks before appt they call and say that the dentist will be on vacation on my appt day so they have to reschedule and cant get me in until April 2025 (3 more months) went in April for other impressions then went in May 2025 for another appt and was told I would be getting dentures on JUNE 30, 2025, Went to this appt and was told they made a mistake and the dentures were wax ones so the dentist told me that he would put a rush on them but went to the reception and was told they could not get me in until Mid August 2025 but was told by dentist and reception that if they came in early that they would call me and get me in. They came in and I only know this because I called myself. I was then told they can not get me in sooner and to wait for my next appt. Why put a rush on them if I still have to wait. Here we are a year later and still dont have them. I guess I am not supposed to be upset and should contain my feelings. The approx time frame in general to get dentures is 6 to 8 WEEKS by the time I get mine it will have been 11 MONTHS. Yes I have every right to be upset.
I've been with family health care for years I have great doctors starting with Andrea Burke, Alexa Murray great dentist Dr risk and his staff never had an issue I can actually say that they work diligently to uncover what was wrong with me I thank them so much and I will recommend this health care practice to everyone
The behavioral health department is the absolute worst experience I have ever had from a medical facility. I have 3 children that were being seen here and 1 of them with multiple diagnosis's and is also commonly suicidal. The lack of attention, the lack of care, the lack of communication during dire situations involving the need for medication refills and how these situations have been handled is absolutely appalling even after speaking with supervisor Sierra and the medical director Mary Peters which I only got 10 minutes to speak with and I felt my situation was rushed and not handled as well as it could have been. This department should be ashamed of the care they provide to their mentally ill patients and the way they treat people. I have been placed on hold in the middle of speaking, I have been told “I have no idea” from front desk staff when I have asked important questions. I have had providers switched at the last minute without my permission or without even giving me the choice to reschedule with our normal provider especially when it comes to administering new injectable medications my child has never been on before. I have had to switch my children’s therapists last minute because their current therapist wouldn’t “be able to see them because they only go to the schools to do therapy now” again with no prior notice. I have sat in waiting rooms for 30 minutes past my appointment time or have been told my appointment was cancelled after showing up and after never being notified. I have asked for a letter of diagnosis’s and medications for my child for court and still have not received this document after asking multiple times. I would save yourself the stress and headache and choose somewhere else to go if I were you.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Mary Peters! She was recommended to me by a friend because I wanted a second opinion. She is the first person I have EVER felt comfortable talking to about my mental health. She has an AMAZING personality and is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. After seeing her for a short period of time, she was able to determine a proper diagnosis and caught something that every one else had missed. I FINALLY feel better than I ever have in my entire life. I have so much respect for her and don't know where I would be without her.
