I caution clients to withhold any personal information. I made the mistake of disclosing personal nightmares and troubling thoughts to one of the counselors here whom happened to be a neighbor of mine at one time. She took what I told Her, ignored HIPPA laws, and spread My most intimate issues in the neighborhood (and who knows where else) like warm butter on hot toast. You have other options in Scioto County. I suggest You use them.

I was a patient at Shawnee Family Health sense around 2016. Most of the doctors I've had contact with here have been very good and seem to listen to my concerns. They seem to be genuine and open with their communication with me and their expectations (with the exception of one person who, without warning, neglected to refill a medication that worked well for me, went on vacation for the holidays and never responded any of my attempts to contact her). Getting refills of medications sent to my pharmacy is a CONSTANT struggle. The case managers staffed here seem to be HIGHLY unreliable. Leaving voicemails with the nursing staff seem to be disregarded on a regular basis. It's disappointing that I have to look for another doctor because of an unreliable staff. If I were to rate the doctors separately, I'd probably rate them a 4. If I were to rate the staff alone, they'd be rated a 1.The unreliability of the staff outweighs how well the doctors do simply because it doesn't seem that any of my questions or concerns presented to case managers, nurses or other staff isn't being relayed to the doctors a majority of the time and that makes it look like the doctors are unreliable as well (which I don't think is the case). There are also times that I've had an appointment with one doctor and when I went to the appointment, I was told that the doctor was overbooked and that my appointment would be with someone else, and that doctor told me she'd send my prescriptions to my pharmacy. She did not do that and went on vacation for a couple weeks. Nobody else there seemed willing to pass on my concerns to anyone that might be able to help me. I was without my medicine for over a month because of her. Her name is Cindy... Beware... Enter at your own risk.
