Without FCHC and Dr. Troy Hampton, I would not have my career or any semblance of a normal life. Dr. Hampton and his staff have served me sacrificially and faithfully for nearly 20 years. I will always be a patient of this office, despite having to drive 3 hours to get there. Thank you to all the staff and doctors of FCHC.
Caring doctors and nurses in a clean environment. Only complaint is the rollover in staff and doctors forgetting to refill prescriptions in a timely manner.
The doctors are nice enough and competent but the office staff is awful. They bill the wrong amounts, they “forget” to let the doctor or lab know when you arrive, they can’t even print out a bill for you. You have to call multiple times to get prescriptions sent in (call at least 2 weeks before you need it despite them saying it will be taken care of within 3 days). It’s an absolute headache to deal with anyone outside of the exam room.
The Dr I was assigned as patient was terrible, took one look at me and everything about me to him was a lie, my whole life. Everyone else, Nurses, Staff and Walk in Clinics were amazing. They made me feel great and got me feeling better quicker than urgent cares could ever do. But I will never, ever. Be a true patient there. My life is real, not a lie and they do not get to decide which is which.
I'm only docking one star because what kind of doctors office schedules patients during a time when they're closed for lunch, which is 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Other than that, everything else is perfectly fine. I have a great doctor, and she always does her best when trying to figure out either what's wrong or just doing what she needs to do. The scheduling department needs to do better when scheduling patients for a time outside of their lunch hour. Edit: They didn't notify some of their patients that they were doing telehealth visits during the snowstorm and until the roads clear up. Which they should have some way or another. I had to drive all the way to the doctors office only for them to tell me it's a telehealth visit.
