I just got off the phone with Ms.Smith,é after being put on mute for 3 minutes of a hold to.e for her to tell me that they can not help me. I have calling CHOICES for some time and not once have they been able to help me. To me what's worst is that I don't have family or friends that I can call for help in situations like these.

I was referred to this shelter by my local police - warning, don't trust anything anyone says to you while here. They will say you have rights, and that they will ensure your safety, but it's all a sham. My apartment will be ready anytime this January, yet they (supposedly) wouldn't make a single exception for an extension. Extremely disempowering experience, definitely not how I would expect a domestic violence survivor to be treated.

The place has potential, but unfortunately they have the wrong employees. They are very unprofessional and keeps up a lot of drama. The staff never focus on the patients. They allow the individuals that live at the shelter to sit outside the shelter, smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol. They create an unsafe environment for the community. The staff Create scenarios to get rid of the good employers. This place should not receive any more grant funding,. Need all new employers, including HR staff. Very toxic environment for the employees and the people staying in the shelter.
