I've had two separate visits here both were very unprofessional. First one, I sat in the lobby from 3 until close without being seen. Second I had blood work done and a urine analysis, and when I called to check progress theres no record of the visit on file. Yet they had a prescription for me to pick up from the visit. I had to take off work both times just to be right back where I started. This is completely unacceptable from a medical center aimed at serving lower income families.
I had a lot of work done on my teeth the last year. Dr Green and her assistant were very nice to me every time I was there. My teeth are fixed and beautiful because of them
The dentist who was to do a dental procedure was rude, angry, slamming doors, cabinets & medical equipment around. I asked her if she was okay and she shook her head no and continued to slam stuff around acting unprofessional. I left, someone in that state should not be performing a medical procedure, it can go wrong and is dangerous. I felt unsafe. I have no idea what her issue was and made me wait 1 hour past the appointment time. All of the staff that work here are so rude, such a toxic environment. The place is also really outdated, leaking and needs maintenance.
I called over 30 dental offices today. Only 3 were taking new patients. Two of those 3 offices were scheduling 12-18 months out. This office was only scheduling 3 1/2 months out. I said I’d like to make an appointment for the earliest available in January (which is when they told me they were scheduling for new patients.) I made a comment that “it’s better than nothing, and this pain is unbearable, I’m just glad to get something scheduled”, I was told “if it’s that bad you need to go to an emergency office for an extraction.” This feels very dismissive and unprofessional. How they are comfortable telling someone to get an extraction without ever looking at the tooth is beyond me. I was so excited that after making no less than 32 calls today, I finally found an office to schedule with. At this point I do not feel comfortable at all being seen in this office. It’s amazing to me how dismissive the office staff was about my dental concerns. I will make the decision between having a tooth worked on or extracted, not some faceless person over the phone, and for the woman to tell me to get it pulled without a second thought leaves me wondering how they’d have treated me once I was in the dental chair. Rude, unprofessional, uncaring… these are not great qualities for any provider in a healthcare or health services field.
I went and got scanned before entering the building. All of the staff was masked and very nice. When I went into the dentist area, I witnessed the lady wipe down and sanitize the area. She and the dentist were very polite and thorough with my exam. The dentist did not rush at all and explained my options clearly and concisely. I do have a scheduled return visit and am sure my treatment will be the same. GOOD JOB WINMED!!!!!
