I recently, (January, 28 2026), completed an initial medical appointment with Ms. Amanda Ellis, a Nurse Practitioner affiliated with LIFECARE FAMILY HEALTH & DENTAL CENTER in Canton, OH. She and the entire Staff are commended for their Care, Professionalism, and Patience. I also extend Compliments to Dr. Cola and the entire Staff at LFH&DC office located on Ninth St SW as well. Always a positive experience in regards to the the staff and services provided to me by Lifecare. After today's appointment , I find myself especially grateful for Dr. K and his assistant Sam. Doc's light hearted energy and down to personable attitude is always spot on both with patients and staff members alike. My cavity was filled quickly and painlessly all while he repeatedly took the time and made the effort to check on my level of comfort. Sam, all the meanwhile , stayed attentive to Dr. K while still calming my anxieties with her kind, bubbly self. It's one thing to punch in and out to for sake of collecting a paycheck. It's another to genuinely care about the person your providing service to. These two give a damn ( to put it professionally). I hope Lifecare recognizes how fortunate they are to employ both Sam and Dr. K.

I’ve been to this location three times. The first time they did an examination and would not do a cleaning and then prescribed me a medication that gave me a severe allergic reaction that I’m still recovering from four months later. My second appointment they yanked out a tooth. And the third appointment was supposed to be an exam and cleaning, but turns out that there was no cleaning scheduled to be done Even though I was told by the receptionist at the previous appointment that they would schedule a cleaning for my next appointment. The customer service was OK but the communication in what was supposed to be happening is horrible. I’ve decided to schedule with another dentist. Would not recommend If you’re looking for a general dentistry or to get your teeth cleaned

At first had good interaction with a bit of upsell-but as I had more appointments with them it got much worse-I think clinics like this are so under pressure to sell meds and push certain treatments that they forget why they're open. And when I inquired about starting my daughter as a patient so we could both have the same source-they were flat out horrible! Will not return here for any reason-and would never recommend to anyone!

Personally I have such a fear of going to the dentist something about having someone I don’t know stick large tools in my mouth while I’m so venerable doesn’t ease me obviously. I had a tooth extraction I needed to get done yesterday, & legit had my mother take me because if I went by myself I probably would have turned around and chickened out. So I had to stay firm and get this out for my own health. I had Jake Kalkstein. I am not sure who the assistant was but oh man bless her heart.. they worked amazing together!!!!! I was scared about EVERYTHING. They gave me a stress ball she held my hand she rubbed my arm he talked me through it he told me every single thing he was doing while being gentle and continuing to tell me he’s being gentle. He was so sweet and so caring. I could not have had a better experience seriously! Between both him and the nursing assistant I had a AMAZING experience! If you have a fear of the dentist, you won’t after having Jake! I have no fear for my next appointment because of how well I was treated.
