Referred to this clinic through VA. Expressed concerns over pain in my back and shoulder. Sent for an Xray when I need an MRI and won’t call me back to review results of xray and I’ve called multiple times. All the while the pain in my back and shoulder is getting worse and my QoL is suffering
Ive called for an appt since 2020...always saying they arent taking new patients! Whats the sense to call this a Community center when u cant help half of the community! Instead im told to call Goldsboro or Greenville community centers! Wow! This place truly sucks!
If I could put a zero stars for scoring trust me it would be in the negatives! Every time me or my husband try to get an appointment, they say they are not taking any new patients at the moment and hang up. Then the clinic have the audacity to send me a postcard saying they are taking any type of appointments with any insurances etc right after we were denied for an appointment! Yeah no! We took ourselves to a clinic that is willing to give care and want business. Shame on you Kinston Community Health Center! I'm not a "Karen", I am actually very understanding.
This is my experience at the Kinston Behavioral Health Center. Absolutely horrible service. There needs to be some adjustments on the front desk staff because some people here are obviously not meant for customer service. I spoke to some around 12:40 on Thursday 07/11. I’m pretty sure I had interacted with this person before, but I can’t say for sure. This Thursday, I was trying to express my concerns about an appointment that had been cancelled and I just needed to inform my practitioner about something. As I was explaining, she completely ignored what I had to say and apparently transferred my call. No one answered my call, so I called back and after about 7 mins of waiting on the line, she answers again. Again, showing little interest in my medical needs, not listening to me, and at this point I’m not gonna call back to be ignored again, But anyway, as I’m talking, she transfers my call again to a line that no one answered. Horrible service. The previous experience I had is a month or so back. I was about 5 mins late to a virtual appointment. When I called to try to re arrange it, I was told that they were going to reach out to my counselor and if they were not able to join the meeting I would receive a call back. So, I sat on the virtual video meeting alone for 10-15 mins. No one ever came, and I never received a call at all. Not only is there no help whatsoever, but I’m just wasting my time talking to that person. For the most part, everything is fine when I go or call there. But that persons attitude and service is completely unacceptable. A gave an extra star just for my other experiences that were positive, but the experiences referred to in this review are an absolute 1 star.
I finally learned how to do this Thing. I had an appointment with KHA—at 9:15 am. I was 3min late from my appointment time. I have been going to them for a while and needed my position; I never see the same doctor. The best one always leaves, and the one who doesn't care about your health always gets mad when you tell them they are not doing their job as they care then tell you how your body should feel, another thing it is hard to find a parking spot when you go out there anyway. I just got off work and had ten minutes to catch my appointment on time. Needless I didn't, just 3min late. Anyway, I got there; Ms. Linda called my name and said you're late. As I work there, you won't be seen today. I asked why not I was only 3 minutes late. She responds You have to reschedule or wait till someone cancels. Ms. Linda didn't check me in or did not tell the doctor I was there. I asked Ms. Linda if you could come before 15 after your appointments. She Lied and said no, they never did that. I did get mad but held my peace. Knowing I should know what they did not know my first time going to them, I waited for anyone to cancel. Now, remind you, my appointment was at 9:15 am. She said nothing like, Ma'am; I think I have an opening or not, just sitting looking clueless. I didn't leave out there till 11:20 and haven't been seen, just a rescheduled appointment. What is the point of them being open if their worker doesn't care about anything but a paycheck? I instead go elsewhere for my care with people that care and listen to what we have to say about our health, not what they think it is
