You can never get an appointment here. It’s like the hunger games trying to get one. I waited months just to get a TELEHEALTH appointment, only to be met with extreme unprofessionalism and rudeness from Dr. Kenneth Sax, who I originally thought was a great doctor as I’ve seen him several times. I waited on the Zoom call for several minutes but, unlike most of the patients here, I HAVE A JOB. So I didn’t have time to sit and wait in a waiting room for a Zoom call and periodically logged in and out to check when he’d finally show up to the call. When he finally did, i was told to “hurry it up then” and asked if what I’m even here for was an emergency. So now I’m at fault because you had to wait on me to hop back on? Make it make sense. Most of the doctors here are clearly tired and overworked and underpaid. Not my issue—take it up with our government that funds you. I know it’s been quite a long time since med school for him, but last time i checked, doctors are supposed to be somewhat kind? I guess not. Or maybe I’m not the type of patient this health center cares for anymore. When I expressed it was an emergency, he couldn’t care less and basically said it’s up to me to carry on with the call. I don’t care to waste my time on miserable people who hate their jobs. There’s been times I’ve waited in person for HOURS and never said a word or blamed anyone or my appointments been cancelled/rescheduled as soon as I show up. If only that patience can be met by their staff. I’ll never schedule an appointment at this dirty health center again.

Dr Sax is one of a kind. He is so knowledgeable & down to earth. He’s been my doctor for over 15 years & I am very happy with him.
Customer service was great, I was greeted with a smile and treated with respect and the wait was short. I was in and out under an hour and the hygienist and Dr. Epi put me at ease throughout my treatment. I can truly say I have always been a happy customer when leaving Peekskill Sun River Dental.
When I made the appointment 3months ago I was told my insurance was accepted. I get to my appointment today to be told my insurance was not accepted. Why is it that no one called me to inform me about this change. I have healthfirst Increased Benefits Plan. Which is Medicare. Your office has poor management skills. Will never recommend anyone there.
