I felt the need to write this review.. being a female and in my 40's.. my friend recommended Evergreen because of the staff. He was right! They made me feel so welcome and seen. So understanding and they listen. I signed on with my primary today, and always nervous if I will feel comfortable talking with someone new. Linda B. made me feel so comfortable and so welcoming. She came in with the biggest kind warmest smile and she is so easy to talk to. I'm so happy with the move I've made. :). The energy and the feel of a place is huge for me, but the fact that you can get everything done there! They take your blood right then and there so you don't have to schedule at quest. They have every dr you need, including vision and dental!
I have been a patient at this facility for over six years. My primary concern, which I have consistently observed, pertains to the operational efficiency of the pharmacy department. Each month, or whenever I attempt to refill prescriptions, I encounter recurring issues. Specifically, when requesting refills for my standard medications, particularly those requiring syringes due to my hormone replacement therapy, I consistently face difficulties in obtaining the necessary supplies. A similar challenge arises with my estrogen liquid medication. I am typically provided with a supply intended to last a specific duration. However, when this supply proves insufficient, leading to withdrawal symptoms, I am consistently met with a lack of explanation. The recurring response suggests that the issue stems from my own actions, despite my consistent adherence to the prescribed medication regimen for several years. While I value my relationship with Evergreen, I strongly believe that improvements are necessary within their pharmaceutical department.
Evergreen Health has first-class care despite being a "Medicaid clinic", something very rare these days. My family has been seeing them for decades. I am constantly amazed at how professional and skilled they are, regardless of the needs of the patient. They truly care about their patients' wellbeing too. Dr. Hurst alone deserves his own review. He is wonderfully thorough, always listens, is pragmatic in what's best for the patient, and does not dismiss the patient's own ideas for treatment. He often checks on me between appointments with the care portal. You'd think you were his only patient on Earth, but I'm sure he has hundreds. Can't recommend Evergreen Health enough, especially for people with special needs or mobility problems.
Every experience I've had here has been affirming and positive. I switched to Evergreen for my PCP as my previous PCP wasn't taking my health issues seriously. I have several chronic conditions and am a very complex patient. Within 3 months of starting to see him, Stephen Gabor helped me with medication changes and referrals to specialists, and I'm finally seeing some improvements. I'm very pleased with my care at Evergreen.
I've personally only been a patient with Evergreen Health for almost 2 years now. Dr Coleman is the very best at her profession. Most physician's I personally have been a patient to honestly did not truly care about me... As if I'm just a number on a spreadsheet. Kay is the exact opposite, she cares, honestly cares about her patients. Five Stars isn't enough a physician that treats you like family. Thank you Kay, I appreciate you.
