I am writing to give a glowing review of a resident dentist at NYU/Sunset Park Dental - Dr. Ryley Bennett. I am 65 years and have seen SO many dentists throughout my life but in 2025 - I first worked with Dr. Bennett which led to a follow-up this past Saturday. Dr. Bennett has the most perfect combination of professionally, complete respect for his patient; very calmly and kindly explaining each part of the process I've ever come across and since I value comedy when in a vulnerable position like that one but - during little breaks - we had a nice connection of an upbeatness that made enduring some of the worst pain-moments a lot easier to endure. When I left my appointment that day and thought about my experience with Dr. Ryley Bennett - my first thought was: "wow - he has quite an incredible future ahead of him..." I definitely look forward to my next visit...
Very rude people, not responsible you can wait for the medical report or the absence letter for a weeks and than they still screaming on you
The worst dental department of any NYC hospital. Receptionist made every attempt possible to not allow me to schedule an appointment and discouraged me on the phone. I told her I was in pain and in urgent need of an operation. These people have no business working in the health sector if they have no desire to help people.
Dental department is the worst I have ever experienced. Ive been there twice for "consultations" and never got a cleaning or fillings or anything from them. I've been waiting 1 year now for an appointment for dental work. I called over a dozen times and sent messages through my chart and I get no return call and no reply. Now my teeth are loose! DO NOT waste time here. This place should be investigated.
The worst dental department ever in the city. The staff are rude and malignant. They don't respect their patients, the waiting is over packed all the time. I had an appointment they made me wait for 2 hours to be seen by unqualified and unprofessional "doctor" which is not supposed to be the one who should see me that day, and she was telling me that the other one is not present, she said to me literally: If you don't like me to see you today you can come another day. Appointments in that facility are hard to be taken. I made that appointment after more than 12 times call, and each agent tells me something different from the other.. The doctor was complaining all the time that she is a doctor and she is not supposed to do dental cleaning, so she did not clean my teeth very well, I was showing her through the mirror.. Unbelievable.. The staff in the reception are very rude and disrespectful. To sum up, I highly DON'T recommend this facility.
