Dentistry review for Juan Quintanar: Completely unacceptable, TWO OF HIS FILLINGS FELL OUT. FOUR LOOSE TOTAL. Quality of care was not in any way sufficient. unfortunate because he is a nice man. Was told I needed several fillings, should have gotten a second opinion because now I believe not all were needed Of the fillings he did, four of them ended up loose or completely falling out. Never had this issue anywhere else, let alone four times. Completely unacceptable standard of care and practice. Did not believe me about fillings being loose on multiple occasions, and when I looked at notes for previous appointments it didn't reflect that I had even complained about this. First loose filling I had to go in three times before he was willing to replace it. Second loose filling I went in and told him the pain, sensation, smell, and taste was the same as the first filling. Was told it was fine. Did not replace untill it FELL OUT of my mouth and I went back, my patient file said that I had complained about tooth sensitivity on my previous visit when I'd directly told him it was loose. Not written down. Third loose filling was found by a different dentist (learned my lesson about the quality of care at this facility), who showed me on the camera that my tooth was black underneath my filling. This happens because it wasn't connected. Fourth loose filling months later, molar filling just came out from wooden toothpick. No excessive force at all. All issues with back teeth/molar fillings. Would rate a zero if I could, do not trust this man with your teeth, I'd have been better off not receiving dental work.
One of the worst cleanings I've ever had. Not the first time Ive had this man cleaning my teeth, and never has another dentist gotten my face so soaked, to the point where I have to stop him so I can wipe my face dry multiple times during the cleaning. Rushed and painful, when he was using the toothbrush, he was going so fast moving the tools around my mouth it caused me to gag and spit out the suction tool onto the floor. Then he just ended the cleaning and told me 'you've had enough', which felt disrespectful and condescending. I was extremely disappointed, as this appointment had been postponed for over a year because of the office rescheduling with me, and then to have a sub par cleaning felt like a waste. The supervising dentist had much better bedside manner, but does not make up for the poor care from the man who cleaned my teeth. Because of long Medicaid dental waitlists, I have few options but to stay at this clinic for now, but if the next time I go he is assigned to clean my teeth again, I will ask to see another dentist or leave if one is not available. The receptionist is a real one, though. She was being very considerate of all the people waiting, and even helped me get my septum piercing back in. Only including the second star bc of her.
My Doctor left this location, i wish i knew where she went. The staff is ok. My 1st experience was nice, as i returned for my 2nd visit follow up with my new doctor to receive my results i can see and feel the decline in professionalism. They dont seem to care and lack compassion. Im standing on line to make my follow uo appointment for 40mins YALL NEED TO DO BETTER.
I had a scheduled dentist appointment with Christina Eskew, she was rude and very condescending. I had a terrible experience because she had a sarcastic response to everything I would say. She asked me if the job was ok at the end and I told her what the issue was but she seemed so annoyed by me saying something about it. Then she kept trying to tell me I was pointing to the wrong tooth but the way she spoke to me was as if she was talking down at me and as if I couldn’t ask questions or tell her what the issue was after she literally asked me. I asked her if she was ready at some point and she took that way out of context and said “we start on my time”; like huh, what are you even talking about? I didn’t say that offensively, she was drilling my teeth and I was nervous, so I asked her that to brace myself and when I said that she had the nerve to say “brace yourself for what” in a nasty tone. And while she’s drilling my teeth she’s saying things under her breath with an attitude. If you’re going to provide a service you need to learn how to speak to people & have more patience. Her assistant kept stabbing me with the tool & she was not welcoming at all. All around the experience was very uncomfortable, I felt like I couldn’t ask her anything without her attempting to make me feel small. I had to ask for a different dentist for my next appointment. The only reason why I gave two stars was because the other dental assistants were very kind and respectful, and I never had an issue at any other department. This was the only time I had a problem and I’m going to speak up because being a patient puts you in a very vulnerable position so respect goes a long way.
This is the worst doctor’s office I have ever experienced. Front desk staff has never been helpful, won’t book appointments/take messages/even answer the phone most of the time. The doctors will “send your prescription to your pharmacy”, but actually won’t, so you’ll end up going days without medication you need. Then when you email the email they provide to “assist you directly” they never respond.
