I just had my first intake appointment with Sandra at Alexander Oak Orchard. Right off the bat, I can tell we are going to hit it off. The staff in the office were very sweet and friendly. Smiled and engaging. Sandra was super nice and attentive to my concerns. I battle with depression and anxiety so it helped relax me when I wasn’t talked down to, was treated like I made sense and my concerns were validated. I can’t stand arrogant doctors and I definitely did not sense that there. What a relief! A place that feels like home!

I have been going to Oak Orchard sense it opened with my almost 11 year old son, and I have been seeing Dr.Mehr for 25 years with my boys. Where are our nice, kind, know you by name receptionist? One in particular that’s there now is the rudest receptionist I’ve ever met in my life. When talking to her on phone I felt like I was being lectured then she just stopped talking to me and waited for me to say something were she then cut me off to say there was no openings, but a min. Later found a cancelation. When at office she was asked to find me dental numbers and she got up whent into a room in hall and left us standing there for like ten minutes. We could see her standing there laughing and talking. Another woman got us a number. I have talked to people from Canisteo Valley practice and oak orchard and the merge has made alot of unhappy people. Wait times are way up, prescriptions are not being submitted and staff does not seem very happy. Hoping things get better because we like going there.

I have zero complaints about my dental care with Oak Orchard Health. The hygienist, assistant & dentist are all very professional and sweet, as well as efficient. I'm so thankful they are available to help with my dental care as there are so few options in this area for that. The fact that they are good at what they do and friendly as well is an extra added bonus for sure.
