Went in for my dental appointment. I had been in extreme pain for days. They got straight to identifying what the issue was with x rays and what my options were. I decided to have the tooth extracted. Dr made sure i was completely numb unlike the dentist i previously went to in ABQ. Dr was gentle but also worked fast to resolve my issue. Before i knew it the tooth was out and i was feeling better immediately. Staff was also amazing making sure i was comfortable throughout the entire process and made sure i was scheduled for a follow up appointment. I will definitely be keeping all my future appointments here instead of traveling so far. I highly recommend!
Let me first say, I don't blame the providers for the incompetence of the staff. My bf has been dx with cancer. Second, the staff did not want to schedule him till January 16th. My bf called to make this appointment. When I found out when they had scheduled him, I immediately called and boy did i get a run around. Oboy they couldn't get him in fast enough. If I hadn't of called to complain, the cancer could have spread further with a fatal outcome. I'm not happy with that clinic at all. By the way, this all started third week in September.
Love the staff in the clinic, but I've had WAY too many negative interactions with a few of the EMTs here over the years. Last one happened recently when my father needed assistance and one of the female EMTs started being extremely beligerent towards me... It got to the point over the years where we would DREAD having to call for assistance because we didnt know which EMTs would be on call.
Recently fell and injured back. Seen and given shot and medications. Also set up with specialist in Durango. Just was seen and needed steroid shot in my spine during CT scan at hospital. Thought would be several weeks but was told had already been scheduled by Lucrecia, La clinica when set up appointment. Got that afternoon and on way back before 3:00. Great work.
They used to be a five and now they don't listen to the patients just to what is gossip. The behavioral health side is 5 stars. The counselors actually listen first and doesn't let small town gossip get in the way of doing her job. When my brother worked there it was great. But they brought in new doctors that instead of helping the people that needed help with pain management. Instead of weaning patients off pain killers they just cut them off. I believe it was half of the patients that were on pain meds they just kicked to the curb and heroin that was never barely heard of in the Chama Valley and was to blame for one to many of my friends and family over dosing and dying. I don't like going back cause it reminds me of the people that I have lost. But I am happy to hear that the doctors are prescribing Suboxone to people that need help. I hope my home town and the surrounding communities have learned from previous mistakes. I just wish I could turn back time. And I hope to return to the place I grew up and not be judged for my past which only a handful of people know I didn't deserve what happened to me and know the whole truth. I don't like explaining myself anymore and I miss when everyone use to mind there own business because last I checked no one is perfect and I never claimed to be. I still hear everything that happens down there even when I don't want to know. Please mark as helpful if feel this review has been.
