I love Las Clinicas. I drive an hour to get there. Granted they are going through dentist changes. The hygienist Theresa, is amazing! She is through and kind and takes care to listen to me.
Las Clinicas Del Norte use to be a great and good quality care clinic, when the old providers use to work like , Doctors , Denise Farewell, Raju , Craig, jean , Liana Martinez, Dr Miley. All these doctors were wonderful and gave Northern New Mexico patients a quality of care. Now there's only rude providers along with rude young staff that think they know it all and just flick their fingernails. All the doctors and stuff care about is eating lunch. They do not care about their patients they chase patients away that need help that live in rural areas This is not right patients should stay at these clinics forever they live in these towns. As of now these clinics are horrible All three location. They need to be shut down. All the workers live in the communities and talk about all the patients who go in there and what they get they're breaking HIPAA law and need to be closed down ! They're just jealous and uncaring!! Everyone who has bad experience with this clinic you need to report it!!
El Rito Sep 10, 2025...Went in because a filling fell out, and the pain was unbearable. The girl in the front was rude with a bad attitude just walking in at 7:30 when the open time says 7:00 online. Told me they dont take walkins BECAUSE they are short staffed. I then asked how they do it when there is an emergency. She proceeded to ask what my pain level was. Then proceeded to say I would have to wait because her system was not even up.... with an attitude. Maybe if she would have shown up to work on time it would have been a different story. Blows my mind why people choose to work for the public and get paid by the public, yet act like we are the burden. Not to mention, this is an hour away from me. The closest. Then having to drive to Espanola or Santa Fe another hour to 2 hours away. What is the point of these clinics if they can't even serve the rural areas?
I did have some issues with billing but finally got it all worked out and charged to my insurance. They had tried sending me a bill a year after my first appointment but finally acknowledged that it was in error. The dentist I saw originally isn't there anymore so I'm signed up for a new dentist this time. Overall they are very nice and seem competent.
Many years ago I went here and it was outstanding. BUT NOW FORGET IT ! The dentist took all but 5 minutes to look in my mouth for an infected tooth. Then gave me a referral for a root canal commenting that I had the other side to chew on. WELL WRONG he did not even notice the other side was vacant of chewing molars already. The move to El Rito from Ojo Caliente is not only in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find but it seems the quality plummeted as if no one will notice that as well.I will never return it was horribly bad.
