Excellent "Team" from the phone appointment with Sandra, the check in time with a great smile and confidence of personal information from Michelle to Candice an amazing, comforting Dental Tech who prepared your visit with such kindness even under stressful x-ray exams. Dr. De La Cruz was above and beyond as a Dentist who will be known for her great communication and confidential confidence of explaining my dental concerns "Look forward to future appointments" and thank you for a smooth check out. ✔️ God Bless
Very good place but only problem is when trying to make an appointment non of their phone numbers work and can't get in contact with them.
Had sensitively when drinking cold water, the dentist told me to ignore it, he couldn't find nothing wrong, requested another dentist, she found the issue, but didn't do a good job of fixing the issue, won't come back to this place again, they heard you through like cattle..
This place is a joke! I think it was the MA, Idk she didn't introduce herself, she was beyond rude. I had a question about the prescription as when I got to the pharmacy, its $400. For ear drops?! For an ear infection?! I called NUMEROUS times to get more information and the recording said "they're too busy to answer and to call back" So ive gotta drive back over there?! How do you not be able to get thru to the office?! Smh
tl;dr: I was scammed, my teeth became sensitive, and I had yet another "bad time" in ABQ healthcare. 🤷🏿♂️ 😷 (10/10/2025) I was recommended this location by people at Pima Medical Institute (PMICDC) in early March since they noticed some cavities and I was without dental insurance. I arrived with the requested proof of one month's income and waited to get things taken care of. Well, the cavities are filled in (as far as I can tell) and I've got a new issue to worry about: teeth sensitivity. March 12th, 2025: Either the second or both of these two happened: (1) Giovanni Avila [M] claimed the February xrays Pima sent didn't work for compatibility reasons and wanted to do new xrays on the spot, but I insisted on trying again so I wouldn't have to waste money (and exposure). Unsurprisingly, everything worked fine now, but~ (2) They tell me that the xrays didn't give them a good enough view of some of my teeth (probably the molars) and insisted that new xrays were necessary. I was very annoyed by this and it probably showed on my face, since it felt like a complete lie. Not seeing other options, I told them to go ahead. After that, they applied SDF to the between-teeth cavities and prescribed a fluoride toothpaste since it's been filtered out of my drinking water for years. Then I paid the $57 bill and left. May 8th, 2025: Due to unexpected Lyft problems, I arrived at 7:42am for my 7:50am appointment, 7min after the "arrive by" time (but called ahead of time to inform them), and was eventually brought to the dental chair like last time. 2-3 people [F] were around (and mostly behind) the chair doing things and there was next to no conversation as I sat there waiting for Giovanni to arrive. At 8:09am, I made note of the fact that I was still waiting for him. During the operation, the needle to make my gums numb had to be used again once or twice. At 9:15am, the appointment ended and I kept in mind to not chew for awhile. In the billing area, I received a rude response when I verbalized my surprise by the $258 bill. By 11:20am, the problems started. The pain was slowly increasing and became very bothersome by 11:50am while the numbness was still strong enough to make drinking water uncomfortable. Either that day or the next, I noticed my right upper molar became sensitive to water. So much so that I could feel my gums when water was pushed up to the roof of my mouth... so most of the time I drunk anything. May 19th, 2025: I called the Dental Health Center about the matter and was told to either do a walk-in or schedule an appointment to get it looked at. Not interested in more damage and another bill, I decided to save my money and buy an "intensive enamel repair" toothpaste instead. October 10th, 2025: My teeth still have some degree of that sensitivity, but I feel confident that I can eat ice cream without strong reactions now. 👍🏿 End Notes: This makes the second (out of four) dental clinics that scammed me in some obvious way over the past decade and one of multiple healthcare businesses that went out of their way to give me "a bad time" in ABQ. Considering my September review of a certain birria restaurant, it tracks. Afro-Americans, dark-skinned BIPOC's, and maskers beware the usual experiences.
