I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Gill at this office. I waited about six weeks for my appointment, only to be told when I arrived that they do not perform root canals — which was the primary reason I scheduled the visit. This was never communicated to me ahead of time. After learning that, I asked if we could at least proceed with a cleaning so the appointment wouldn’t be wasted. Dr. Gill informed me that she was busy with other patients and that I would need to reschedule for a separate visit. The interaction felt dismissive and poorly handled. Given the long wait time, lack of communication about services offered, and overall experience, I would not recommend this office. Patients deserve clear information and better coordination of care.
On October 21st, I visited Camcare for two fillings performed by Dr. Shah, who is no longer affiliated with the practice. Subsequently, I returned to the office on December 5th as an emergency walk-in due to the fillings failing. As an employee of a dental office, I had my x-rays taken and reviewed by my colleague, who identified the incorrect placement of the fillings. On December 5th, Dr. Chen restored one of the fillings on tooth #6, yet there were two fillings that needed work, on teeth 5 and 6. However, she informed me that she could only complete one filling at a time, despite the initial intention to complete both simultaneously. I was advised to schedule another appointment to have the second tooth restored. I scheduled the appointment for December 16th, where Dr. Chen completed the second filling. Also, I paid $85 for the visit! During my initial appointment (10/21), I had insurance coverage. Unfortunately, my insurance was terminated on October 31st, leaving me responsible for paying out-of-pocket for a service that was performed incorrectly. After consulting with Camcare’s financial advisor, I was informed that I was not required to pay for the third visit; December 16th, 2025. However, on December 23rd, two days before Christmas, I returned to the office for another emergency walk-in due to extreme sensitivity in my tooth that was filled by Dr. Chen. Upon arriving, I received incorrect information from Camcare’s phone representatives, leading me to visit two different locations from Gateway to East. Upon arrival at the second location, I was informed that I had arrived too late, despite being at another Camcare location as instructed by the representative. The staff was able to see me, but upon being brought to the back, Dr. Chen only shaved down the filling and informed me that it would take a month for her fillings to set. She also recommended using Sensodyne toothpaste. I am now seeking legal assistance in this matter.
If you want excellent medical service and to be treated well, make your appointment here. The staff is outstanding, from the person at the door to your doctor. 💯
Went there for a walk in dentist appointment because it said emergency online but I was waiting 3 hours for an emergency just for them to say THEY DONT DO ROOT CANALS AND WONT PULL TEETH?!?! What is this place even good for if they don’t even operate, waste of time and money! Don’t go here ever
I was seen a year ago for an emergency filling and signed up for their sliding scale which was super helpful at the time, and dr Shaw seemed to do an excellent job. I went back recently and saw Juana Horn who refused to smooth jagged fillings between my teeth which make it impossible for me to floss and cause food to get stuck. She said because the floss isnt tearing when I could hear it ripping and pulling against my crown which was incredibly painful. Additionally the hygienist dropped the xray sensor on the floor and picked it up to replace the plastic bag covering it. She did that without washing her hands or changing her gloves which is so gross. I feel like both the people that day were being rude to me because of my ethnicity. They offered to waive the fee and let me see another hygienist, while I was waiting I read the dozens of reviews where other people had the same rude experience. Would not recommend.
