Absolutely love going to the Community Health Center of Asbury Park. I go weekly to see a fantastic chiropractor Dr Bossio! All the staff there are knowledgeable & kind. They’ll go out of their way to help you with anything! In addition to chiropractors, they have a bunch of other extremely worthwhile programs to attend! Been thinking of transferring my PCP there! Highly recommend this place especially if you’re low income & a marginalized person.
Their LGBTQ+ division is a joke. EVERY provider in that department should be able to provide HRT to transgender individuals. EVERY front desk associate should be using the pronouns on their patient portal. And now, the transgender community who relies on the VNA is left up the creek without a paddle.
Very unprofessional! They canceled my appointment after confirming 2 hours in advance! Lady lied on the phone claiming to have me scheduled on a Thursday via FaceTime. I called to confirm my appointment and was told they don’t know what I’m talking about. Mind you, I’m on hormone therapy! And they said my doctor stepped down to Per-dem can see me until 2 months later! Very unacceptable! Take your business elsewhere! They don’t care enough! Ú
Absolutely the worst. I went in with chest pains and ask the doctor her qualifications. she was insulted. she made me feel worse. If you call to make an appointment they.can barely speak English. Medication line is a joke.
If I could give 10 stars for the MAT team I would. For the last 3+ years, Martha and her team has had my back and been through it with me weather my life is on the up or down. Martha helped me make it through both my pregnancies sober, and I got to deliver 2 beautiful babies and I was able to stay on medication to make sure my recovery was also protected. I am very thankful for her and everyone who has helped me. She doesn’t get enough credit for the work she does to help people who suffer from addiction. It’s a shame that this amazing program is being pushed out the door. In my ten years of struggling with addiction, she is by far the best provider I have ever had and I believe she has a lot to do with lives being saved in New Jersey. Thank you to all of you
