I went there for a regular checkup I arrived before time and they got me in just a scheduled. The doctor was extremely professional and helpful. able to answer any questions that I had and very thorough. Following my appointment they took my blood the phlebotomist did a great job hardly felt a thing and the results were back emailed to me in less than 48 hours as well as they made two phone calls to follow up to discuss my blood work and if I had questions. I really don't understand why the negative reviews but most certainly not what I experienced. I recently had an issue where the pharmacy adamantly denied Health first renewed a prescription. Health First followed up and the pharmacy called me back and apologized and admitted to their error. Health first staff showed sincere empathy and concern for their patients is above and beyond. They have consistantly shown their high levels of empathy and service to their customers.
I have a problem with doctors that are not my pcp changing my meds without checking with me or my provider. The medication I have been on for years and works with my other medicines was suddenly changed to a medication that could cause major problems for me.
Office staff is completely incompetent, and they are aware their billing system is not billing correctly and won't do anything. If staff actually does get back to you. You can't call back because they don't leave a name or site location. These people only care about your money and not your health
October 6, 2025. I had an appointment at 2:45. I went inside the office and waited for my doctor. My new doctor that I’ve never met before 3:35 rolls around. I still have no doctor. Two people are in the lobby. I have no one coming in saying she’ll be just a more a couple more minutes. I have no sign of my brand new doctor that I’ve never met so I decided to go on the reviews and look and see what people are saying about this facility? Well, all I see is one star one star one star more than I see the five stars And some people saying I wanna give them zero well now I see why by 340 I walked out read the reviews, understand the reviews and understand if this is your cup of tea then I am definitely all for someone doing whatever they think is right but in my gut feeling, I already knew that that was not a good impression making me sit there and wait like that. I’m not in the emergency room. I’m not in the hospital. I’m waiting for a primary care doctor that should’ve been in that office. 15 minutes talks I’m disgusted that place is disgusting hideous and they don’t give a damn when I left and I walked out and I said I’m not coming back here again they should’ve asked me being their business why I decided to do that and so they said With a attitude well goodbye don’t go there. I repeat Do not go there they are horrible
I want to say, DON'T pay someone to ABUSE YOU. This facility was once good but Dr Janeway took over and is fickle and actually used my success as a reason not to help me. She did many unprofessional things but she finally told me why. Because she has other patients who "are more sick than me" as I should be ashamed to want to increase my health. She refused to order 1 lab which a year later when I saw a new doctor was the 1st lab they ordered. They literally are unprofessional at times to a shocking degree. I have had mostly good experiences with nursing but occasionally they would gang up on me. I could write a pamphlet of examples of unprofessional behavior. The dietician literally is beyond mean. I had to insist she actually speaks with me after my referral. I was way under weight and still not able to gain weight and she legit told me to "get out" and pointed at the door because I have healthy eating habits. I am now being looked at for small bowel carcinoma. These aren't mild symptoms Dr Janeway shames me for complaining about. I have mental health obstacles because of the treatment i allowed myself. If you actually need a doctor I suggest you DO NOT TRY this toxic facility. Oh! And when I went for a follow up on the 1 referral she agreed to they frantically tried to book an appointment there because they forgot to do the referral. I had my neurologist write it so I got to the specialist but it wouldn't have happened had i waited for this facility. Self care is important when you are sick and kindness goes very far in any business. I hope you find a place that supports your health! It's kind of the point, No?
