Made an appointment to establish a new Primary Care Provider, and everyone was super friendly, there was barely any wait and I was in and out thanks to everyone’s efficiency. I told my Dr. Tasheka Powell (who was fantastic) that I needed a psychiatrist as well, and one came in about 10 min later to consult with me. Definitely a uniquely positive experience for me in the healthcare system. Thanks guys 🙏
I visited the Southern Nevada Health District office off Decatur and had a great experience. This was one of the only places I could find that would administer the flu vaccine to a toddler under 2 years old. The Booking Process: It was incredibly easy to book an appointment online for the very next day (Tues morning). I received confirmation via email and text and was able to complete the required registration online beforehand. The Visit: The building is very large, clean, and professional. I arrived and was handed a ticket; while I heard another customer mentioning their appointment was 45 minutes late, my wait was about 20 minutes before being called to a window. Even though I registered online, I did have to fill out a privacy form and a "survey income" form at another window. Tip for Parents: Make sure to have your child's immunization card ready! They needed it because my toddler wasn't in their system yet. The staff mentioned that now that it’s on file, it won't be needed for future visits. I was lucky I had a copy in my email! The Vaccine: After the window check-in, I waited about another 10 minutes to be called back. The actual vaccination was super fast and easy. Overall, we were in and out within 45 minutes, which is fantastic for a facility this size. I’m very grateful to have found a place that caters to the little ones bc I had no luck with Walgreens/ cvs/ urgent cares.
Fast, efficient, and surprisingly smooth experience at the Nevada Health District. From check-in to being helped, everything moved quickly and professionally. Staff was organized, helpful, and made the process easy with clear instructions. Definitely appreciated how efficient the whole visit was — in and out without any hassle. Would recommend if you’re looking for a straightforward, well-run experience.
Outrageously slow service. The staff is lazy. I complained to the manager, and she told me to wait. I waited 50 minutes for a basic flu vaccine. There wasn't a long line in front of me. Furthermore, there are no free COVID vaccines for the uninsured; they offer vaccines at exorbitant prices, well above market value.
I came to pick up my daughters birth certificate and it was very quick. I walked in and had to stand in line on the right, between the poles. Someone called me up immediately and asked for my ID and they printed it on the spot. I was in and out in 10 min max. I came at 9:45am on a Wednesday.
