Around noon on Monday, April 21, 2025, my husband was first seen by Dr. Chris Calerich for severe abdominal pain and a fever. After finding nothing, he was sent to the hospital for blood work and X-rays. On Wednesday morning, my husband called and left a message requesting the results. They called him back and told him the X-ray came back clean, but that he had a blood infection. They also said they were requesting an MRI at the hospital and to call back within 1 hour if they hadn't called. After waiting and calling the hospital, he was told they hadn't received the request. He then called your office, who said they'd re-fax the request. After several hours of waiting, we decided to drive to the ER in Kalispell. On our way there, he received a call from your office, but we were already in West Glacier. Soon after being admitted in Kalispell, they requested a CT Scan, which showed that he had a ruptured appendix and a large abscess. My husband went into surgery the next morning to have a drain placed to remove the abscess. On Friday morning, while still in the hospital, he received a call from your office to let him know you requested a CT in Cut Bank. After telling the receptionist that he was in the hospital with a ruptured appendix and a drain tube, she laughed and "apologized "
I have always received great care. When there were questions they were answered. Caring and understanding. Staff know their business.
The normal doctor is very good but the backup doctor didnt do anything when my husband can't walk and has been kicked by a horse twice. She was also rude. If you need to be seen wait for the regular doctor to be in.
