If I could give it a zero, I would. I was constantly sick and nothing was being done. Doctors would forget to send medications in and it would take forever to get a call back. Everyone one there is rude and acts like they hate their life and job, including the receptionists. They send you to the wrong locations. Everytime I'm in there, I see someone complaining about them. Worst healthcare I've ever received in my life!! They just don't know what they're doing or don't care. Go outside of Sedalia PERIOD for healthcare!!! Bothwell is just as bad as Katy Trail, if not worse.
I had 2 amazing young ladies pull 3 of my teeth. They were very kind and listened to me. They did an amazing job and I was so happy to have them work on my teeth. I unfortunately don't remember their names but I will always remember how wonderful they were. They made sure I was not in pain and was very thorough and thoughtful. I really appreciate their good work and I hope the next time I come in they are on my dental team. Thanks ladies!💕☺️
Fiance has insurance, 3 years ago she went in and had a Covid test. Suddenly, earlier this year she is notified of a random 60 dollar balance. Suddenly, today she's called up and told now she owes 440 dollars out of no where. Billing department seems to pull whatever they think will get them money out of their rear ends. No communication, no mailing, just a call to say "hey you owe this money to us" with no justification as to why. 440 for a covid test three years ago? Make that make sense. Go somewhere else , unless you know your patient rights they'll try and take advantage of you.
A Truly Life-Changing Provider I’ve struggled with mental health issues for most of my life and have seen multiple providers at Katy Trail in Sedalia, Missouri. But everything changed the moment I met Dr. James Floyd (or Nurse Practitioner—either way, he’s incredible!). From the second our appointment started, I felt seen, heard, and genuinely understood—something I had never experienced at this level before. Dr. Floyd didn’t just go through the motions or read from a chart—he listened deeply and paid attention to everything I said and didn’t say. He was able to identify things I hadn’t even mentioned out loud, including childhood trauma and PTSD, just based on my reactions and body language. His level of care, attention to detail, and empathy blew me away. What truly set him apart was his willingness to completely revamp my treatment plan when he saw it wasn’t working. He explained everything clearly, made me feel involved in the process, and gave me real hope that healing is possible. Even after moving to Jefferson City, I almost canceled my appointment thinking I should just start fresh with someone new and closer. But thank God I didn’t. Today’s session with Dr. Floyd reminded me just how rare and special it is to find a provider like him. I left feeling supported, understood, and—most importantly—hopeful. I’m already looking forward to my next session in four weeks and am excited to see the progress I know I’ll make under his care. If you’re struggling and looking for someone who truly listens, who gets it, and who genuinely wants to help you get better—Dr. Floyd is that person.
I have mixed feelings. I have been going here as well as my daughter for 8 years now. I absolutely love their mental health provider as well as Dr.Kashani as my kids pediatrician. However I've must have seen at least 6-8 different doctors over the years for myself. Some good, some God awful. I often feel rushed, no one ever answers my calls when I have questions or takes me seriously. Some of the Dr's and nurses maybe need to take a bedside manner course or something.
