I’ve been here for 5 years and every single time I come it’s an issue. And I’ve never been seen in under 30 minutes even if I have a scheduled appointment. This is the worst place ever it is literally hell. I wish there was somewhere I could get my medications from that isn’t here. It’s a terrible experience each and every time.
KC Care really needs to step in with communicating in a timely manner. I have great health insurance coverage and I choose to come here because I believe in the potential that your service can provide folks. More knowledgeable and compassionate front line staff would certainly be appreciated. Also, to other patients out there: double check your statements and make sure the amount is correct, don't pay a dime until you understand what you are paying! Please do better KC Care.
I was a walk-in so I expected to wait to tremendous amount of time. What I wasn’t expecting was for the nurse practitioner to come in and recap symptoms that weren’t mine. We quickly got back on track and she seemed to have been taking good notes so I was okay after a while. She asked for a urine sample and I followed her instructions: write your name on the cup, provide the sample, secure the lid on the cup, place sample in hole in the wall. Easy. Done. By the time I got back to my room and spoke further with the nurse practitioner, I was informed that they couldn’t find my sample. Excuse me?!! How do you lose urine? I tried to provide another sample and I heard the employees through the wall say “did she put her name on it?” YEESSS! This isn’t my first rodeo. Take responsibility - you all lost it and that has nothing to do with me!! I was so disappointed, I grabbed my things and left. Not returning. Maybe y'all will receive better service.
I stopped in today to try and get a refill for my albuterol inhaler and I was told that unfortunately I can not get an inhaler because I need to turn in copies of my paycheck stubs which I have emailed at least 3 times and. They still have not received them. I asked if the care pharmacy could transfer my prescription to another pharmacy and I am willing to pay full price for a RESCUE inhaler albuterol because I have asthma and I have had it since I was an infant. I was immediately informed that they could not do that and I would not be allowed to receive my inhaler until they received my information. I went to my car grant it I work from 8-4 about 45 minutes away from here so I was cutting it close. Due to their construction I had to go down the elevator walk all the way around the building a city block to get back to my car which I have all the paperwork with me and by the time I get all the way back around they are now closed. Now remember I am here because I need a rescue inhaler and they will not allow me to purchase one even though they have an active prescription that does not expire until 10/2025. So now struggling to breathe I had to walk all the way around to my car with no inhaler. Unbelievable that they can see my script is good and still will not sale me an inhaler. This place used to care about its patients now that they are growing they now are just like every other drs office only in it for the money they are no longer concerned about the health and well being of the patients. Unfortunately after reading and seeing all the negative reviews they will do as they have done with the other comments and do absolutely nothing just to prove how they are only in it for the money not for the health and wellbeing of their patients.
Had to wait 3 hours while feeling so awful, but it was packed so I understand. I still would give them 5 stars because the staff is so kind and empathetic-- and of course because I was able to have access to healthcare and medicine that is actually low cost. Before showing up here, I had attempted to go an urgent care that was listed as "affordable" and they told me that the visit would be $180 upfront so I'm very grateful for KC Care for providing affordable healthcare services. My one complaint besides the wait time is that it's very difficult to find parking so I would suggest getting dropped off if you're going here.
