I am not sure why they have such a poor rating. I have been going thru some health problems so I have been there a lot lately. They get me in quickly all the staff I have dealt with are great. Got me referrals, appointments for procedures. Never felt rushed, listens to my ideas and are kind and compassionate. Dr. Lemanski has been great and I would highly recommend him and the service for any medical needs.
Very unforthcoming. I have an established PCP here and called over a month ago, expressing mental health concerns. I was told this would be passed to my PCP for a psychiatrist referral. They never got back to me. i relied on this place because Hillman is fairly rural and the obvious lack of care or concern is so diappointing.
have had acceptable service here up until today. at 3:45pm I called the Hillman Clinic to try to get an appointment for my sick 4 year old daughter. Joanna answered the phone and told me they had nothing available. I hung up the phone and immediately called the Atlanta clinic, they also had no appointments available, but informed there was an opening in Hillman at 4:15pm. when I arrived to the Hillman clinic the 2 girls behind the front desk seemed shocked to see me, I asked to speak to the office manager but was told she had already left for the day. Pretty sad to be working in the Healthcare field and deny a sick 4 year old because they wanted to be done working early on a Friday night. If there were other medical options in this small town I would not go here again.
Dr. Bonnie Bartz is an amazing doctor. I see her for my OB needs and she is the most kind, caring doctor I have ever met. She empathize with her patients and walks us through all options and makes sure we get the referrals or tests that we need. I appreciate her so much because it is difficult to find good doctors in Northern Michigan. I highly recommend her for OB/GYN care. She is literally the best.
I had to change physicians and location. Rogers City and my popular provider are too busy for me. I’m a chronically Ill individual and 10 minutes spent with me is ridiculous. The “ physical “ I’ve received in the last several years has been 15 minutes long 😩 for a person with chronic Illnesses?? Crazy!!! I am on pain meds and recently I needed to see my provider to change and increase dosage on my medication. It’s august 2024 and they gave me an appt for November? My new provider in Hillman took over 30 minutes with my for a medication review and because I was a new patient to her. Thank god I finally saw the light !!!! The Rogers City clinic sucks. Don’t go if you can help it.
