I usually don’t leave reviews on medical facility although Manet is not great when responding to patient questions on the patient portal. Yesterday I had a follow up appointment got there on time only to be told by the receptionist that Olivia one of the providers on my doctors team is running behind and asked me to re schedule I should not have to pay the consequences of her running behind that’s not my problem and it is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful for them to ask me to come back another day . It shows lack of respect of my time . I will be talking to patient advocate.
I have been a patient at Manet for a number of years. Manet is a community health center... They see a number a patients every day that may not be able to get treatment elsewhere, explaining the wait times. I will say that they have made a noticeable improvement over the last few months, I don't wait nearly as long as I once did. I have had the same PC for years and have zero complaints. I have had a positive experience with all the nurses as well. So I will end with this, a community health center faces different challenges than a private practice would, they serve the marganilized, the ones who fall between the cracks and societies outcasts...myself included. So practice a little bit of patience!❤️
Why do I have to stay on the line forever and you still don’t pick up your calls. You provide an option to call back and when you call back, I still have to stay on the line forever without anyone answering. Why would you call me right back if you are just going to make me wait on the line. Big hospitals pick up immediately you call them. This is a small community clinic so you have to be efficient.
Horrible experience not once but twice. Brought my infant in as a new patient where the doctor showed up into our room an HOUR late. For an infant check up! I figured ok maybe it was just a bad day. Brought my son in to request an emergency ENT referral to assess his breathing and waited another entire hour before we walked out. The rooms are tiny, keeping a toddler entertained in there for that long is near impossible. They have absolutely zero respect for your time they are ALWAYS running late. read the other reviews! It’s also filthy, and the front desk staff are annoyed you’re there the second you walk in, baby and all. Highly do not recommend.
I never leave reviews, but after this last visit I’m changing PCPs. Portal communication is solely through nurses who may or may not get back to you. This last time I ended up having to go to urgent care because no one would get back to me. When I finally did get an appointment, the doctor didn’t know why I was there and seemed annoyed I was, and clearly didn’t check my chart or records to prepare. She listened to me for 2 seconds before dismissing my concerns and saying, and I quote, “you seem fine.” No tests, no bloodwork, just looking for a few symptoms that fit in a nice box so she can diagnose and get you out of there. Expect two hours for your appointment, with a majority of that time spent waiting. Nurses do not do proper intake and always seem confused about what to type when I explain why I’m there. When I check later, it’s also always wrong. Dr Ahmed does not listen to her patients or check their records at all, which has lead to her dismissal of all my symptoms because she does not take any time to understand your history. More than once she’s given me false information and doesn’t seem to know what the things she diagnoses are. I’ve watched her look up diagnoses on google when I have questions on them, which is not only unbelievable but dangerous. Meds prescribed are excessive and not explained, also dangerous. Summary notes and my chart here are completely wrong, so now I have the wrong things listed in my records. I will be switching to a doctor who cares.
