I've was a patient here for several years and always appreciated the clinical care, but my last experience with billing was extremely concerning and even made me change providers. In August 2025 I had a short telehealth visit solely to renew my PrEP prescription -- something I have done routinely with them for years under the same insurance plan, which covers preventive visits. Despite this, I was billed for services that were never provided and should not have been charged at all. Over the following six months, I made multiple calls to the billing department, waited on hold for hours, contacted my insurer several times, and repeatedly received from Fenway different explanations or was told to wait for a review that never seemed to have happened. During this time, the balance was even sent to collections despite my insurer informing me that they reached out billing in Fenway twice to correct this issue and billing had confirmed they would take action, which they never did. Only after I escalated the issue directly to executive leadership was the error reviewed and corrected within a few hours. I appreciate that the leadership team ultimately fixed the problem, but it is deeply troubling that it required that level of escalation to resolve what was essentially a straightforward coding error confirmed by both my medical record and insurer. If you use this provider, do so at your own risk and I strongly recommend monitoring your bills closely, documenting every interaction with billing and not assuming they will follow through with their commitments. The clinical staff may be excellent, but the billing process can be extremely difficult to navigate if something goes wrong given their zero lack of accountability. I hope this review helps others avoid the amount of time, stress, and effort this situation required.
I just want to say thank you again to Dr. Jacqueline I recently got a crown and the whole process was smooth and painless. The staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed from start to finish. I’ll be returning next month for another procedure
I have been a patient at Fenway for a long time and have always had great experiences. Today I needed to get blood work done in OBGYN, and to say it was difficult to complete would be an understatement! We had two medical assistants, Xhulia and Cindy, work with us, and they were both exceptional. Xhulia went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and okay throughout and was so calming through a stressful process. Cindy also came to check in when we came back hours later to finish the blood work. They were both so kind, so thoughtful and so supportive. I am so grateful to both of them and hope to get them again at future visits!

I truly felt respected and understood throughout the whole process. They helped me face the fear and shame I was carrying about my condition, and they did so with so much warmth and compassion. As a patient of nearly 10 years now, I'm so thankful for this place. They provided life changing care without any hassle & in general are super easy to work with! Ralph Vetters is the only doctor I've had my entire adult life & I wouldn't want it any other way, him & his team are the best! He always lays out all the options & lets me decide which is something I've always appreciated. He is so laid back & talks to you like a person not like a doctor which is comforting & makes everything more comprehensive. He makes me feel seen & heard, feel like the treatment is tailored towards ME & not just a generalized, unpersonal treatment. I also went through Fenway for a surgery & that entire experience was very smooth, easier than expected & I'm SO happy with my results. Again, I'm so thankful as a trans person to have access to a place that provides a lot of gender affirming care. They even mail me my HRT as it's very hard for me to get into the city & unrealistic to do once a month. And I get to do Telehealth appointments for the same reason which is much appreciated & eases a lot of stress revolving around appointments for me. Ignore the recent negative reviews written by non patients. And if you are here to be one of those people, I suggest re-directing your energy to places where you can make a change, this is helping no one & just endangering access to HRT for even MORE people.
