Truly the worst customer service in medicine I have ever had to deal with. And that is saying a lot. I used to go to this medical center during the covid era, and they were excellent. But, from my understanding, new management took hold around that time. Now, they try everything in their power to prevent you from seeing a doctor. They require you to provide your medical records before an appointment can even be arranged. For mine, they requested the medical records to the wrong location. I followed up two weeks later and provided them with the correct location. They said they sent out the request again, and said that if I dropped off my printed copies of my records it might expedite the process. I asked him why I could not email them my forms, and they then said that they could not legally receive them. Which is not true, another facility received them with no issue. Nonetheless, the physically printed forms were dropped off. I called to speak to a manager following week to get an update on the review. They initially said that the manager was working remotely, and then two days later said that the manager was unavailable for an entire week and a half. I asked to speak to the owner of the organization, and they stated they would not allow me to do so. When I asked how long it would take for the doctor to review my records, they said upwards of a month. I questioned them as to why it took almost 2 months total just to get an answer on whether I can get an appointment or not. I understand that Maine medical facilities are understaffed and overburdened, much in response to our excessive focus on overfunding of the military and multi-billion dollar private corporations, and the underfunding of our medical and educational facilities. However, this level of bureaucratic cruelty is unacceptable. This is yet another reason why the US needs universal health care, rather than small, petty, profit-making ceos.
Absolutely the best place to get any kind of care! I am from out of state visiting my friend and I woke up with a swollen face and severe tooth pain. They took me immediately into the urgent care at the clinic and helped me out! Everyone I spoke to was so kind and I am so thankful the care I got!
People are wonderful here my counselor n mat dr are really nice easy to talk to n breath around them all real down to earth people..
I would like to compliment the dentist, Dr. Zhang, for the quality of the care he provided in my tooth extraction. He is a very warm and caring doctor, and the procedure was literally painless. Also compliments to hygenist/assistant/nurse for her excellent care and manner. And I'm recovering nicely. Thank you!
Our family is highly impressed with the level of care and attention we are given by both the medical and administrative staff of St. Croix Regional Family Health. This level of care in this remote corner of Washington County is both unexpected and greatly appreciated. As with most medical facilities these days, it can take awhile to be seen for your initial appointment, which requires an application review. However, once accepted service is prompt and always friendly. They have medical, dental and mental health services.
