She was nice but I kinda felt like I wasn’t being listened to and like she was in a rush. I scheduled my appointment back in march for a women’s exam and when I got there in the doctors office and in the room waiting talking to the nurse assistant. I was told I’m gonna have to reschedule my appointment because of scheduling and it wasn’t on the schedule when that’s the whole reason I called. so now I have to take another day off work to go to another appointment because they were unprofessional and made me reschedule. Also the front desk lady is rude she shouldn’t be working there if she’s gonna treat patients the way she treated me. I got there and I stood at the window for 2 mins while the lady with red hair scrolled on her phone and didn’t acknowledge me. Didn’t look up. And when she greeted me she didn’t say hello how are you nothing just what’s your name with attitude. Also when checking out. She asked me if I wanted to come back in a year the doctor didn’t update the front desk letting them know they wanted me to come back because they screwed up my appointment and basically just didn’t want to do it. I heard the nurse assistant ask and she said no not today scheduling is not good. Well then I guess they shouldn’t have scheduled me for that today then if they couldn’t do it or maybe not over schedule people so you have time to do the appointment correctly. Also told her about a few problems and she did nothing about it didn’t say anything about it. Going down through the list of questions they have to do like what I said wasn’t a problem or an issues I shouldn’t be having these issues being so young, just yup okay. And your too young for that. Well no crap Sherlock I know that’s why I’m telling you. I know after this next appointment I’ll be finding a different doctors office, one that’s more friendly and one that doesn’t over schedule and doesn’t miss schedule your appointment. It’s almost like the front desk lady never took any notes when I called about my appointment cause they acted like they didn’t know why I was there. Never had that happen especially when on the phone setting up the appointment I said my reason for the appointment. The way I felt leaving this doctors office never again. Also the last time I was there a couple years ago and I was getting a treatment I had blood work done to see where my levels were. my regular doctor wasn’t there. So they gave me her and she couldn’t even read my results cause she didn’t know how. So that appointment was a waste of time and didn’t get to know an information I was there for. Yall think people forget a we don’t also to add onto everything else she said she was gonna said a prescription over for me and she never even did. So safe to say my visit was a waste of time, not sure if my past has anything to do with it but I noticed other who are like me get the same treatment.
i must’ve had my appointments on her bad days or something. I had an awful experience with this provider. She refused to acknowledged what I was there for and got stuck on the fact I take a MAT medication through a different provider which I was fully upfront about without any issues. Over 3 years clean (just shy of 4 now) and she was trying to tell me I was still using substances I told her to do a drug test then and she refused to? Make it make sense. All the headache because I needed a PCP dr…I demanded a different provider after the 3rd time we met (I tried to give her a chance but her judge mental attitude towards addicts just wasn’t the vibe I needed from a dr I need to be able to trust with my care…). I wish I had this great relationship with her but guess she couldn’t look past my history!
Dottie is always prompt, gets to the point quickly and solves the issue for the appointment. She is caring and knowledgeable.
Very attentive.. listened to everything I had to say. She addressed all my medical needs refilled all my medications this is the first time that I have seen Dorothy O'Keefe I had Lindsay Norton for years and was given Dorothy when Lindsay left very happy with my visit today and meeting Dorothy O'Keeffe.
I have been a patient of Dottie and the Hometown Healthcare team for some time now, I always feel listened to, cared about and not ignored. A very welcoming atmosphere.
