The check-in was amazing and they knew who I was so I didn’t have to fill out more paperwork The waiting room was amazing looking clean, very neat and comfortable, and it wasn’t long before they called me to the back so I probably was sitting in the waiting room for less than 10 minutes when I got called to the back the nurse was very nice when the doctor walked in, she was very nice too so in all in all, I really enjoyed my doctors visit for the first time I thank the Lord for this place.

I would love to be able to give a higher rating, but I sincerely hope that this review is able to help someone. Almost every experience I have had with pinnacle family health has been abysmal. It started when my partner and I first moved here and she attempted to make us appointments, it took two weeks just to be able to get in touch with a receptionist, to set up an initial appointment a month out. The reason for that long wait is because nobody ever answers the phone. The appointment itself was fine. I found Mia Mccall to be dismissve from the get go. A week prior to this visit I had to go to urgent care to have an ingrown nail removed. It didnt feel quite right after, so during my appointment I asked her if she would take a look at it and she just said "we don't do that here" and that was that. Continuing on, I asked her how I would get my medications refilled when I needed them. She said to call the office. I'm thinking great, that's simple! When it came time to refill my medications, I called the office every day multiple times praying that someone would pick up. Finally on day two of going without my medications I was able to get in touch with someone who left a message for Mia, she called me back the next day, and told me that I would need to make another appointment to get my medications refilled even though it had only been 3 months. I begged her to refill my medications, because without my ssri I get sick for a few days until it's out of my system. She gave me a month's refill. When it came time to refill my medication again I hoped I would have a better experience. I did not. Multiple calls, back to back every day hoping that the constant ringing of the phone would be annoying enough for someone to pick up. It is not. Finally my partner was able to get in touch with a nurse who spoke to Mia, and when we threatened to switch practices she said she would refil our medications as a courtesy and switch us to being seen every six months instead of three. I had hoped to give them one last shot. She did not refill my medication. I called back the next day, and after multiple attempts Finally reached someone and she said that Mia would send the refill that day. She neglected to send the prescription to my pharmacy again. So now it is friday and I will have to go without my medications yet again, even though I was promised that it was going to get filled. I had really hoped that my experience would have been better, since pinnacle family health markets itself as an accepting and inclusive practice.I tried to give them every opportunity but I can't keep going through this every month. Maybe my experience would have been different with a different provider at their clinic. All that I can say now is that if you can avoid going here, you should. It seems as though from the receptionist to the pcp, they do not care and will take every opportunity to disregard you and your needs.
We ended up coming here because we heard it was very affirming for LGBTQ. While that was true to our limited experience here, that was the only positive thing about this office. (hence two stars instead of one) I had to call multiple times to schedule initial appointments for my partner and I for a PCP. No one would answer the phone. When we finally got appointments, I tried to call to make sure my insurance would cover the provider i chose. It took two weeks to get an answer due to again, no one answering the phone. My appointment with my provider was fine. However, I had a hard time getting in touch with her afterwards. My provider told us to just call when we need refills for our prescriptions. Then, after three months we were told we had to come in for another appointment in order to get our prescriptions. I have NEVER heard of a place that does that unless it is a controlled substance. My medications were for allergies... It took a thousand calls (due to no one answering the phone) to finally get the medications sent as courtesy. They only sent one of my prescriptions when they told me they would send all of ours. The entire time I stressed to them the importance of the SSRI due to my partner being out of them. Then when i called the next day (multiple times again because no one answered the phone) they sent in my second medication but not my partners SSRI. She is now feeling sick as a result. I wanted to be able to recommend this place but after my experience I sadly cannot. I love the concept, but the execution is very poor.
I went here for a blood test, the staff were very patient and nice! The lobby is very cozy aswell. They were giving out "prizes" after the test, which was cute.
