I took my child to see Dr. Maria Cartagena for the first time and it was by far the worst visit we have ever experienced. She came in with preconceived notions based on the questions she was asking and statements she made. She assumed that we were sent by the school, that I didn't know what a head to toe examination is, that my child had never had one, as well as what I want for my child. All of which were very far from the truth! I decided to bring my child to the doctor without any input from the school, my child sees a doctor regularly due to health issues and has had multiple examinations throughout his life. I know full well what a head to toe examination is as it was the first thing I learned before attending clinicals as a nursing student. Furthermore, I am an experienced parent. I know how to make informed medical decisions for my child with the doctor. She knew nothing about us and did NOT take the time to find out before making judgements. Additionally, the doctor also injected herself in a side conversation that she was not a part of and became belligerent and only apologized for her horrible behavior to the other person in the room. We left and will NEVER return! We only tried this doctor because she is closer but clearly closer did not equal the same level of care or better in this instance. Thankfully I was able to get my child an appointment with a caring doctor next week.
Fast friendly service very good Doctors God forbid if any emergencies happen this is where you go for medical needs there is also a pharmacy in the medical center
My son was seen in a matter of less than 10 minutes upon registration. Xray completed and surgery referral and discharge in under an hour.
We went here for Dental Services. All the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They work wonderfully with kids—my little ones loved getting to pick out their toothpaste flavor for their cleaning, and they were so excited to choose a toy from the treasure chest at the end. The facility is modern, clean, and very inviting. Plus, the efficiency was impressive—we arrived at 9:55 AM, and both kids were finished and ready to go by 10:20 AM. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great family-friendly dentist!
Admission and nursing staff of the urgent care were great.... however the provider was careless and extremely lacked in his exam. Spent maybe 3 minutes total with me and I was the only patient in the clinic! I definitely will NOT be using this facility again!
