The multitude of stairs leading to this office is daunting to anyone with mobility issues. There is a separate entrance with a wheelchair ramp that requires a lot more walking to get to their second floor office. Incompetent and uncaring APRN's. Tara Hart advised me to buy tea tree oil to treat MRSA skin infection. Denied me antibiotics to treat a potentially life threatening skin infection. I had to go to Urgent Care to have tested and treated. Likewise, Tara Hart told me to go home and do Keegles to help with urine incontinence after a spinal cord injurty. I had to go to the ER in order to have an MRI on the injury and to be treated. Referrals take over a month to be sent to providers that aren't accepting new patients or my insurance. Prescriptions were routinely sent to the wrong pharmacy. When I asked clinic for help; I was told to call the wrong pharmacy and see if they still have the scripts and tell them to send to the correct pharmacy. I received a notice from my insurance after every visit and lab that they will not pay due to wrong diagnosis codes entered by clinic. Twice I tried to reschedule an appointment and twice all of my appointments were canceled without my being notified. Twice I showed up for appointments they had canceled. I've been waiting over a month for the office manager to call me back to reschedule. I receive feedback requests every week about my recent visit even though I haven't been seen by them in over two months because of scheduling issues. Leads me to believe that the feedback requests are automatically generated after each visit. Meaning, my insurance is routinely being charged for services I am not receiving.
The staff are amazing where the family and psychiatric practice together. They really do care about their pt's and the community. Finally somewhere to go where they actually listen to you and care about you.
I am so glad I found a place that is caring and listens to me. I highly recommend the Audubon Area Community Care Clinic!
Don't waste your time here. They're rude and dismissive of people with disabilities.
