I found Trinity family Health about 4 months ago. I was tired and exhausted and honestly this was my last chance at fixing my mental health. I found Mandy Lockwood, who is an amazing psychiatrist, and Lindsey Bertrand, who honestly a truly amazing therapist. Over the last 4 months my mental health had improved so much, that I had trusted my 14 year old child who has the same diagnosis as myself, with these two professionals. Sadly, I won't get to see what kind of progress she would have made. On the day of her last therapy appointment I was called and told our therapist, whom my child literally adores, wouldn't be there that day. Having the diagnosis of Audhd I had a bad feeling, gotta love my intuition, and after doing some long detective work, found out my Intuition was correct. Mine and my child's therapist had been fired. After going up to the office, I was disgusted that the receptionist could try to hype up a male therapist that they are bringing in. Anyone dealing with mental health issues, we don't do well with change, especially if you are neurodivergent like myself and my daughter. Therapy is only effective if you have a good rapport with your therapist and you trust them. I find it highly insulting that Trinity Family Health's board of directors or who ever is in charge could think it's an ethical practice to completely disrupt someone's treatment plan with no notification. It's completely messed up my self healing journey. Now I find myself questioning if this medical facility has the patients best interest at heart. Also, the new therapist they are bringing in is a man. As a female who has been in abusive relationships with men resulting in cptsd i would rather quit therapy all together than to see a man. I am highly disappointed in this place.
(The behavioral health providers are wonderful.) This place use to feel like a family group that really cared about the patients. Now, it feels like a cold corporate business. Front desk staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They are untrained and seem annoyed about doing their job. It's not worth the aggravation of having to deal with them when you can go over the street to Grace Health and they make you feel like you matter. You dont matter here, at all. Not anymore.. ...
Jeni Baker is the best provider I've ever had. I moved here from Georgia and was looking for a PCP and I was fortunate to find her. She took the time to take care of my overall health and managed my diabetes better than anyone I've had in the past. She is a patient advocate and does what it takes to make sure I have the care and the medicine I need to maximize my health.
I took off work today and pulled my son from school for an appointment there that I had been waiting over a month for. After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour we were informed that Mandy wanted to reschedule our appointment because it took so long to get the insurance verified, but not before another patient came in as a walk in and got an appt with her while we were still sitting there!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I did speak to the office manager to let her know what an absolutely disgrace the place is. The front office staff were very friendly and upset at how she was acting as well. I did not reschedule and would not recommend this place to anyone!
This is truly the best experience I've ever had with a physician. They always are able to work me in when I need to be seen. Rebecca Day has the best bed side manner that I've seen in a provider. Her staff especially Charlene and Madison are amazing. I would not change providers for any reason.
