Poor processes, poor protocol, poor level of care. The entire setup treats you like a number. Changed to a different provider after 2 appointments.
Dr. Camas is the best thing to happen to Brownsville. Thanks to her and her thorugh care it was discovered that I had a aneurism and a ovarian mass. I really feel like she saved my life by discovering these and getting me to specialist. She truly cares for her patients. And her nurse Emily is the same. They make a wonderful team. I highly recommend A+ family health care. From the receptionist to the lab technician they are top notch.
When I found out Dr. Camas was in Brownsville- back close to Grayson County where I first was seeing her- I was thrilled. She had left Twin Lakes and was too far away to follow her, but I'm incredibly grateful she is back. I switched my daughter from Leitchfield Pediatrics and brought my newborn at the time to her as well. I managed to get half my family switched to her. She is the absolute best, I wish I could clone her! Lol. The staff at A plus in Brownsville is also very nice. I started refusing vaccines for my baby and was terrified to bring it up because I thought I would receive so much backlash, but I was greeted with kind faces and voices. They offered me information and never made me feel like shit over it and it was appreciated.. I could go on and on but I've said enough. Dr. Camas can be hard to get in to see sometimes, but that's just because she's so wonderful and everyone wants to see her. We've had good luck with the nurse practitioners in the office as well!
The staff has always been great but Jennifer Camas is my diamond in the ruff of my many Doctors. She always makes me feel so welcomed and takes her time to listen to you! I feel like her and her co workers at both locations are some of the best! Would give 10 stars if I could.
I was referred to A+ Healthcare for an initial visit. Upon arriving for my appointment, I made two separate calls; one to possibly cancel due to the weather and the second to inform the staff about my late arrival and an estimate time of arrival I was reassured that I should proceed. After collecting my information, I was told that my appointment had been cancelled due to the time of arrival. Keep in mind, it was a 35 minute drive to the location and the same amount from the location. The front desk staff (all 3) were all inconsiderate, and lacked the very basic set of customer service skills especially for a mental health institution. Although, I did not receive the service I came for, my experience is enough to speak on.
