Dawn Nowak was caring and compassionate helped me when I needed treatment she was easy to talk to didn't judge my situation and made me feel better about myself. I highly recommend her she is from crisis mobile unit. She really cares client centered.

Frustrated with this place and their lack of communication and just being clear. I call for an appointment for a therapist . Am told to call back the next day as phone consultations are booked up for the day. I call the next day, am then told I should have called first thing in the morning as they are booked up… didn’t know that. So I call back again the next day . Am told they have an opening . So I go, then sit for one hour past the appointment time. Finally go in, speak with someone for thirty minutes who is just asking questions, not actual therapy. Then am told they can have me see someone in two weeks ?? What kind of joke is this?

DO NOT GO HERE. If you value your mental health you will not give this place a chance. The staff are extremely rude and do not care about your mental health AT ALL. I ran out of my anti depressant and my psychiatrist was on vacation...They would NOT give me any refills or even enough to hold me till my next appointment which was 17 days away. I went a week without my antidepressant and was unable to function slipping deeper into a dark hole of depression. I called several times waiting for them to get the Medical Director to "approve" of giving me enough to hold me till my next appointment. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude and when I left messages would NEVER call me back. It got to the point I reached out to my pharmacist who called for me requesting they give me a refill because being off the antidepressant cold turkey was detrimental to my mental health. She even expressed to me that the woman was very rude and asked the woman for her name. After doing so they finally decided to give me a 90 day refill after giving every reason in the book why they couldn't give me 10 pills to hold me till my next appointment. I will be going to Porter Starks from now on as they treat their patients better. DO NOT GO HERE.
