AHC has a caring staff and outstanding doctors. Dr. Lisa Bergeron is an incredible pediatric developmental doctor and is passionate about helping her patients. She’s amazing with special needs kiddos and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend!
Called and left a message. I received a call back, but the questions I asked, brought on information she couldn't provide. She asked if she could forward the questions to the billing department, and have them return my call. Absolutely! I never received another call to answer any of my questions. Its been over a week now.
I transferred from Parkview to Alliance solely because of Dr. Eric Shoemaker. Toward the end of 2024, Dr. Shoe took a new position (he moved back to his old office at Parkview Rudisill, if you needed to find him!) My issue with Alliance is that they never notified his patients that he was no longer with them. The call I received on 3/19/25 reflected that my now-cancelled upcoming appointment was still with Dr. Shoe, even though that’s impossible. I have always received good care at Alliance, and I have nothing but respect for the medical professionals that work in the Lafayette office. However, I am leaving a poor review due to the lack of clear communication that Dr. Shoe’s patients deserve. I shouldn’t have to be blindsided and track down my PCP because they don’t want to lose patients.
I would like to express my concerns regarding a recent experience my son had with an appointment at Alliance. We waited two months for an important consultation, only to discover that the doctor we were scheduled to see had left the practice, and no one had rescheduled our appointment with another provider. When we reached out to Alliance, we were informed that it was the doctor's responsibility to contact patients regarding such changes, and that there had been no official notification from Alliance about this situation. This experience raises concerns about the staffing continuity and communication processes within the facility. High turnover rates in leadership and staff can significantly impact patient care and trust. I believe it would be beneficial for Alliance to implement the protocols and workflows established by Parkview to enhance the quality of care and communication for patients. Shame on you Alliance
My girlfriend made an important appointment that she was nervous for and I changed my whole schedule around to make sure I could drive her to and from the appointment. She made the appointment through Path4You and got a confirmation text for her appointment and everything. When she got there they said they couldnt find her appointment and made her reschedule. In my opinion this is a total failure and should never happen. The people at the front desk were at least polite.
