I want to thank William Stevens from prairie heart for fixing my heart and changing my life for the better not to mention giving me a second chance at life. ❤️ Thank you so much sir. Ridiculous. Called four times to be on hold 20+ minutes before talking to anybody. Get told I will get a call back. I Never do. This place is infuriating. Going to switch to Springfield clinic ASAP.
I was going to this other doctor before I found siu. Really happy I found siu, they did some blood work and found a vitamin d deficiency i had. I haven't had this much energy in a very long time. Even the siu urgent care by walmart is so awesome. It nice to walk in and feel welcomed. Telling ya these are the people you want on your medical team. They do blood work to investigate xray mri's. I even got calls from siu after hours I knew they was closed. They called me with same day very important test results I was so close to being a diabetic. Siu called after hours to tell me about my blood sugar before she called me she already called the pharmacy and had the metforming waiting for me. I never had that kinda care anywhere else . If I could give 10 stars I would!! The doctor and her students in siu like Sherlock Holmes solving mysteries of your body and arteries
Would not recommend mainly due to the bad billing practices. Tina and Melissa will refuse to contact your insurance to verify that your insurance has paid before they send you a bill. They will willingly let you into the practice knowing your insurance will not pay, and then fail to abide by the no surprise act in place by the government and provide you an estimate of the services that are not covered, (per SIU med website, they are to provide you one no less than three business days of what is to be expected). In addition, they will refuse to inform the claims specialist, that you are wanting them to speak to your insurance to verify billing or any possible corrections to get the claim paid.
Dr Frances Lee had me in surgery for 8 hours. When she opened my neck I had an abnormal number of lymph nodes to remove. She and her students stayed at it for 8 hours not taking a break to finish my surgery. She saved my life. I had 4 cancerous lymph nodes out of the 61 that she removed. I liked her from the moment I met her and wish to thank her again for what she did for me. She has a beautiful bedside manner and is very caring of her patient. I am forever grateful to her and her student techs.
